Romans 12:1
โ€œI beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.โ€

Why are we in church?
We are not only called to attend church, but to participate, serve, worship, and witness. We are here because we love the Lord and because Christ gave Himself for us.

our mission
It is our mission to spread the Word of God and to be a disciple wherever God has placed us
We are called to participate and do our part in the work God has entrusted to us.

Isiah 6:8
โ€œ Also i heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.โ€

May we continue to participate, serve, worship, pray, and witness. May we faithfully do our part in the work of the Lordโ€”not trying to be somebody else, but using what God has already given us for His glory.

โ€œHere am I; send me.โ€
Let us participate. Let us serve. Let us be faithful.

THE DESIRE OF THE LORD
Micah 6:8
โ€œBut he hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?โ€
What God Desires:

1. He desires our Devotion
Micah 6:8
But he hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

Jeremiah 29:10
โ€œFor thus saith the LORD, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon, I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place.โ€

2. He desires our Development
May we give God our devotion and allow Him to lead our developmentโ€”growing in faith, character, obedience, and in our walk with Him.

3. He desires our department

Deuteronomy 29:9
Keep therefore the words of this covenant, and do them, that ye may prosper in all that ye do.

THE BASICS OF PROSPERITY

1. Begins with Obedience to Godโ€™s Word

9. Keep therefore the words of this covenant, and do them, that ye may prosper in all that ye do.
Deuteronomy 29:9

2. Requires Courage and Consistency
Sometimes, obeying God means standing differently from the people around us. We must keep, meditate on, obey, and observe Godโ€™s Word.

3. Requires Determination and Faithfulness

12. Only the LORD give thee wisdom and understanding, and give thee charge concerning Israel, that thou mayest keep the law of the LORD thy God.
13. Then shalt thou prosper, if thou takest heed to fulfil the statutes and judgments which the LORD charged Moses with concerning Israel: be strong, and of good courage; dread not, nor be dismayed.
1 Chronicles 22:12โ€“13

4. Comes from Choosing the Right Path

2. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
Psalm 1:2โ€“3

5. Follows Sowing and Reaping

8. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
9. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
Galatians 6:8โ€“9

14.Wherefore he saith, โ€œAwake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
15.See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
16.Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

Ephesians 5:14โ€“16

Let us wake up spiritually, walk wisely, and make every moment count for Christ. The time we have is precious, so let us use it to honor God and live according to His will.
