𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗬 𝗪𝗘𝗘𝗞 I SACRED PASCHAL TRIDUUM
A day of beginning the "Sacred Paschal Triduum", which consists of Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and the Black Saturday (Ester Vigil).
May this holy long weekend takes us from the Lord's Last Supper, the Lord's Passion and Death, and unto his Glorious Resurrection which in Cebuano or Filipino words as "SUGAT" or "SALUBONG" at dawn in Easter Sunday. It is the time when we gather to joyfully witness the risen Christ our Lord. Hence, may this holy week be an instrument for amending our hearts and repent then submit our self to his holy will. And let us not forget that in every time we commit sins, it reflects directly to the suffering of our Lord Jesus Christ upon the cross.
The bible verse from John 3:16 says that "For God so loved the world, as to give his only begotten Son; that whosoever believeth in him, may not perish, but may have life everlasting."
Be a witness today into Christ's suffering, death, and resurrection. Through unconditional love, he showed us mercy by offering his own son our Lord Jesus Christ, despite of our human imperfections to save us from sins. Let us purify and cleanse our self before the Lord by reflecting our own sins committed against him and into his people. Let us be reminded to actively participate in Church activities, especially on these holy days, as we journey together in prayer, reflection, and be grateful always!
