See His Goodness

I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. (Psalm 27:13, NIV)

David was going through tough times when he made the declaration in today’s verse. Things weren’t going his way. But he said in effect, “I’m not worried. I’m not upset. I am confident I will see God’s goodness.” In other words, “This situation I’m in may be rough, but that’s not going to steal my vision. It’s not going to cause me to give up on my dreams. I am confident that this year, I will see God’s favor in a new way.”

Always remember, what you focus on is what you will see. No matter what the medical report says, no matter what your finances look like, no matter how bad that relationship may seem, be confident that you will see His goodness! He is the all-powerful, omniscient, Creator of the universe, and He holds you in the palm of His hand. Nothing is too difficult for Him! Take hold of this truth by faith and focus on His goodness today!

Bisan pa og adunay mga paglangan, kapakyasan, o mga pagsulay, ayaw tugoti nga mapahunong ang imong pagtuo ug pagpadayon. Ang matag adlaw usa ka higayon aron moduol pa sa Ginoo ug buhaton ang katuyoan nga Iyang giandam alang kanimo. Padayon lang sa paglakaw uban Kaniya, kay samtang nagpadayon ka sa Iyang kabubut-on, walay panahon nga mausik—ang tanan adunay kahulugan ug katuyoan sa hustong panahon. 🙏

Align Your Thoughts

For as he thinks in his heart, so is he... (Proverbs 23:7, NKJV)

Sometimes we need to just stop and think about what we are thinking about! The Bible tells us that what happens on the inside of us—our thoughts, attitudes and motives—are more important to God than what happens on the outside. You can fool people all day long by saying the right things, but the scripture tells us that God is looking at our hearts. He wants our thoughts and attitudes to come into alignment with His Word so that we can see His promises come to pass in our lives.☝️🙏

Remember, your life will follow the course you set with your mind. When you align your thoughts with God’s thoughts, your life will follow Him. Jeremiah 29 tells us that His thoughts are for our good. His thoughts are for our peace. His thoughts are for our victory! So today, align your thoughts with His thoughts by meditating on His Word. Embrace His promises so that you can move forward into the life of victory He has prepared for you!

Father, today I surrender every area of my life to You. Help my thoughts to line up with Your Word. Bring Your promises to my remembrance today as I meditate on You in Jesus name. Amen🙏😘

Faith that is Alive
..faith without works is dead.
(James 2:20, NKJV)

Did you know that faith can be alive or dead? Dead faith doesn’t do anything. There are a lot of people who love God, but they aren’t overcoming obstacles or accomplishing their God-given dreams simply because they are not putting any action behind their faith. Their faith is simply dead.

What can you do today to keep your faith alive? It doesn’t have to be something big. By simply obeying God’s Word and doing your best, you are keeping your faith alive. When you go to work every day and give it 100%, you are demonstrating your faith. Sometimes just putting a smile on your face when you feel discouraged is putting action behind your faith. Taking time to go to church—that’s faith that is alive. That’s faith that activates God’s power. That’s faith that opens the door for God to move on your behalf! With faith that is alive, you’ll rise up higher. You’ll overcome obstacles, and you’ll move forward into the blessing and victory God has in store for you.
