Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. James 1:21 NKJV

The enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy, he is the one who plants wicked seeds in the hearts of men. You need the Holy Spirit to help uproot evil seeds that the enemy has planted and prevent him from planting so in the future. The Holy Spirit is the answer, yes reading you bible is good but it is not enough, you need the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the One who helps you understand the Word of God and helps you live the life you have on this earth. Ask from God the Holy Spirit, and He will hear you from Heaven above. Do not doubt though, doubt is the enemy's weapon against you.

Luke 10:20

Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”

The Lord said to the disciples that they should not rejoice when the evil spirits are subject to them because God is not a sadist God. He did not want this evil spirits to fall instead He tells the disciples that they should rejoice in the fact that they are saved as Christians and not like this evil spirits who are damned.
