**A Reflection on IMPULSIVENESS in Our Words**

Words are born in the HEART before they pass through the lips. When spoken with LOVE and AWARENESS, they become instruments of HEALING, LIGHT, and PEACE. But when uttered IMPULSIVELY —without reflection or charity—they can WOUND, CONFUSE, and LINGER FAR longer than we intend.

SPIRITUALLY, impulsive words often arise from UNGUARDED EMOTIONS: ANGER, PRIDE, FEAR, or IMPATIENCE. In those moments, the soul speaks before wisdom has time to breathe. What escapes our mouth may not reflect our true self, but rather a passing storm within us. Yet ONCE RELEASED, words CANNOT BE TAKEN BACK; they TRAVEL, SETTLE, and sometimes BURDEN both the SPEAKER and the LISTENER.

SACRED TEACHINGS remind us that **SILENCE is also a form of LOVE**. To PAUSE before SPEAKING is an act of HUMILITY and SELF-MASTERY. It is in this PAUSE that the Spirit gently asks: *Is this TRUE? Is this NECESSARY? Is this KIND?* When we allow CONSCIENCE and COMPASSION to GUIDE OUR SPEECH, our words align with DIVINE PURPOSE.

Impulsiveness in speech teaches us an important lesson: GROWTH of the SOUL requires DISCIPLINE of the TONGUE. Each mindful word REFINES us. Each restrained word ELEVATES us. And each LOVING WORD becomes a QUIET PRAYER offered to the world.

May we learn to SPEAK LESS in HASTE and MORE in GRACE. May our words be SEEDS of PEACE, not THORNS of REGRET. And when we fail—as all humans do—may REPENTANCE soften our HEARTS and teach us to speak again, this time with LOVE.

💫A Spiritual Reflection on BITTERNESS and RESENTMENT**

BITTERNESS and RESENTMENT are silent BURDENS of the SOUL. They are born when pain is carried too long without being healed, when wounds are remembered more than they are surrendered. At first, they may feel like protection—proof that we were wronged, that our pain mattered. But over time, they quietly HARDEN THE HEART.

SPIRITUALLY, bitterness does not punish the one who caused our pain; it IMPRISONS THE ONE WHO HOLDS IT.
It CLOUDS our INNER LIGHT, DULLS COMPASSION, and BLOCKS the gentle flow of GRACE. A RESENTFUL HEART struggles to hear God’s whisper because it is too busy replaying yesterday’s hurt.

Resentment also binds us to the past. It keeps the soul CHAINED to moments that God is already willing to HEAL. While FORGIVENESS does not deny injustice or erase memory, it RELEASES the soul from carrying what was never meant to be carried forever.

In the eyes of the Spirit, EVERY SOUL IS A WORK IN PROGRESS —including those who hurt us. When we choose to RELEASE BITTERNESS, we do not excuse wrongdoing; we choose FREEDOM. We choose PEACE OVER POISON, HEALING OVER HEAVINESS.

Christ teaches us that LOVE is not merely an emotion but a DECISION —sometimes a difficult one—to let MERCY flow where pain once ruled. As we SOFTEN OUR HEARTS, God gently REPLACES RESENTMENT with UNDERSTANDING, BITTERNESS with WISDOM, and ANGER with quiet STRENGTH.

Let us pray not for forgetfulness, but for TRANSFORMATION: that what wounded us may no longer rule us, and that our hearts may remain light enough to LOVE again.
🙏💫🕊

“PANANAMPALATAYANG MAY GAWA”**

Nakita ang pananalig na may hangarin at gawa;
