Last Sunday, August 30, 2026, the Pilgrims Choir Davao gathered with grateful hearts and joyful spirits as we celebrated the Feast of Saint Gregory the Great at Tagco Beach Resort, Tagnanan, Mabini. 💙🎶

More than just a celebration, it was a beautiful reminder of what makes our journey as a choir truly special: faith that brings us together, friendships that grow stronger, and hearts that are always willing to give and serve.

As we celebrated Saint Gregory the Great, we also celebrated us, the people behind every song, every service, every sacrifice, and every little act of love that continues to keep our choir alive. From the voices that sing, the hands that serve, the hearts that give, and the people who simply showed up and shared their joy with us, thank you. ❤️

Our deepest gratitude goes to everyone who helped make this celebration possible, to those who generously shared their time, talents, resources, and love; to everyone who made pledges and faithfully fulfilled them; and to all those who supported us in ways seen and unseen. This celebration would not have been the same without you.

Every contribution, no matter how big or small, became part of something beautiful. Every pledge became a gesture of trust. Every presence became a gift. And every smile and laughter became a memory we will carry with us. 🥹✨

May the example of Saint Gregory the Great continue to inspire us to use our gifts not for ourselves, but for the greater glory of God and in loving service to others.

Here’s to another year of singing, serving, growing, and journeying together. 🎶🤍

𝐒𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐀𝐘 | 𝐅𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭

Today, we honor Saint Gregory the Great, Pope and Doctor of the Church, whose life was marked by deep faith, wisdom, humility, and devoted service.

Did you know? Before becoming pope, Gregory was the Prefect of Rome before the age of 30. He later became a Benedictine monk, founded monasteries, served as a papal representative in Constantinople, and was eventually elected Pope at the age of 50.

He is also remembered for his reform of the liturgy and his influence on sacred music, though his direct role in the development of Gregorian Chant remains debated.

May we be inspired by Saint Gregory’s example to use our gifts not for recognition, but for the greater glory of God. May our music become a form of prayer, our service an offering, and our voices instruments that lead others closer to Christ.

May Saint Gregory the Great intercede for all who serve through music and ministry. May we continue to sing with faith, serve with humility, and give our very best for the Lord. ♥

With hearts filled with joy and gratitude, the Pilgrims Choir Davao gives thanks to God for the blessing of serving during the Holy Mass on August 23, 2026, at Virgen De Los Remedios Parish, Toril, Davao City.

We are truly grateful for the warm welcome and the opportunity to share our ministry of music with the parish community. It is always a privilege to offer our voices in prayer and to be part of the celebration of the Holy Eucharist.

Every time we serve, we are reminded that our voices are gifts from God, meant not only to create beautiful music but, more importantly, to help lead hearts closer to Him. May we continue to serve with joyful hearts, humble spirits, and a sincere desire to glorify God through every song we sing.

Our heartfelt thanks to Virgen De Los Remedios Parish for welcoming the Pilgrims Choir Davao. May the Lord continue to bless this community and all those who faithfully serve His Church.

Today, we celebrate one of the amazing voices and wonderful people in the Bass Section of The Pilgrims Choir Davao! 💙

Ren, your presence, dedication, and passion for music have truly become a blessing to our choir family. As part of the Bass Section, you help give depth and strength to our music, but beyond your voice, it is your willingness to serve and share your God-given talent that makes you special.

On your special day, we pray that the Lord continues to guide you in every step of your journey and bless you with continued success, happiness, good health, and countless opportunities to grow. May every achievement you reach remind you of how richly God has blessed you.

Most of all, may you continue to use your gift of music in serving God and inspiring others. May your voice always be an instrument of praise, and may your passion for music continue to lead you closer to Him.

Last Sunday, August 16, 2026, the Amare et Servire Choir and The Pilgrims Choir Davao had the joy and privilege of serving the faithful through the ministry of music during the celebration of the Holy Mass.

With grateful hearts, we continue to offer our voices, time, and talents in service to God and His people. May every song we sing become a prayer, every note become an offering, and every service become an opportunity to bring others closer to Christ.

May we continue to walk together in faith, serving with humility, love, and one heart, always remembering that our greatest purpose is to glorify God through our service.

Yesterday, during the 5:30 PM Holy Mass at Saint Joseph the Worker Parish, Sasa, we joyfully gathered as one community to celebrate the 19th Sunday in Ordinary Time and to welcome a very special guest of faith, the Pilgrim Image of Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage, also known as Nuestra Señora de la Paz y Buen Viaje, the beloved Birhen sa Antipolo. 💙🤍

Her visit was a beautiful reminder of Mary's loving presence and her constant invitation for us to draw closer to her Son, Jesus. As we welcomed her into our parish community, may we also welcome Christ more deeply into our hearts and homes.

The Gospel of the 19th Sunday in Ordinary Time reminds us to remain watchful and faithful, always ready for the coming of the Lord. Like Mary, may we learn to trust God wholeheartedly, especially in moments when the path ahead is uncertain. May her example teach us to remain steadfast in faith, hopeful in waiting, and faithful in serving.

As the Pilgrim Image of Nuestra Señora de la Paz y Buen Viaje continues its journey, may she bring peace to every community she visits and inspire us to become bearers of peace, hope, and love wherever we go. 🙏🏻♥

Welcome to the Archdiocese of Davao, Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage! ❤️💙

SHE CAME AS A PILGRIM, SHE STAYS AS A GIFT.

“Di na po namin isasama pauwi ang Mahal na Birhen. Regalo po ng Obispo, regalo po sa bawat isa, regalo po ng pananampalataya kasi kung panong bumisita kami dito nakita pa namin ang pananampalataya sa inyo at yun po ang aming babaonin.”

During the Closing Holy Mass, Rev. Fr. Idris Francisco revealed the beautiful surprise that the Image of the Mahal na Birhen will remain here in the Archdiocese of Davao.

In his Thanksgiving Message, Rev. Fr. Marbendear Morallas announced that the Pilgrim Image will be temporarily enshrined in Sto. Rosario Parish, Toril, until the establishment of the new parish in the Archdiocese of Davao in honor of Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage.

What a beautiful way to conclude the four-day Pilgrimage Visit of the Image of Nuestra Señora de la Paz y Buen Viaje- Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage in the local church of Davao.

What began as a four-day visit has now become a lasting presence. She came to visit, but she will remain to journey with us.

Daghang salamat, Mahal na Birhen, for coming to Davao and for staying with us. Welcome home, Mama Mary!
