Only 5 days to go until our 9th Founding Anniversary! Join us as we celebrate nine years of faithfulness, growth, and a lifetime of discipleship together.

UCCP Abu Dhabi Fellowship celebrates 9 years of God’s faithfulness!

This year, we gather under the theme “Year of Discipleship: Nine Years of Faithfulness, A Lifetime of Discipleship.”

As we celebrate this special milestone, we are reminded of Luke 14:25–35, where Jesus teaches that discipleship requires complete dedication. Following Christ is more than a simple journey—it is a daily decision to place Him above all else, carry our cross, and live according to His purpose. Through the past nine years, God has guided and strengthened us through every trial and triumph, showing us that discipleship is both a blessing and a responsibility.

We warmly invite everyone to join us on Friday, 29 May 2026 at 3:00 PM as we come together to honor and celebrate God’s faithfulness and grace.

Our anniversary celebration will feature:
• Thanksgiving Worship Service
• Agape Dinner
• Fellowship and ministry presentations

We are also honored to have Rev. Marianne Bucud and Pastor Aaron Bucud of Oasis of Grace UMC as our special guests.

May this celebration inspire us to deepen our walk with Christ, continue growing as His disciples, and serve together in unity and love.

To God be the glory!

PENTECOST SEASON BEGINS! UCCP Abu Dhabi Fellowship joyfully celebrates the start of the Pentecost Season — a time when we remember the mighty breath of God that brings life, mission, and transformation.

This week, we were blessed by the powerful preaching of Rev. J‑ar Reyes. Thank you, Pastor, for being our guest preacher for the entire month of May. Your ministry has strengthened our fellowship and deepened our understanding of the Holy Spirit’s work among us.

Sermon Highlights: “When God Breathes”

Pentecost reminds us that the Holy Spirit — pneuma, God’s breath — is active, alive, and life‑giving. As the sermon notes, “When it is said that God breathes, this is not simply a passive kind of peace — it carries with it a concrete, active, and living peace.”

Rev. J‑ar shared three movements of God’s breath:

1️⃣ Incarnational Mission
God breathes purpose into His people.
Just as Jesus was sent, we too are sent to live out a mission that is embodied, compassionate, and present in the real lives of others.

2️⃣ Inclusive New Creation
Pentecost forms a community where everyone is welcomed. As the sermon says, “a transformed life within a new community that welcomes neighbors.” We are called to be channels of God’s transformation — building a fellowship where people belong and grow.

3️⃣ Restorative Forgiveness
Forgiveness is discipleship. “To forgive is to uphold the dignity of life… to set people free from bondage… to share a life restored by love.” When God breathes forgiveness, we are invited to practice it and extend it.

A Pentecost Call for Us

When God breathes mission, we participate.
When God breathes new creation, we welcome. When God breathes forgiveness, we restore.

Thank you, Rev. J‑ar Reyes!

We are grateful for your heart, your teaching, and your presence with us throughout May.
May God continue to use your ministry to breathe life into many communities.

UCCP Abu Dhabi Fellowship celebrates 9 years of God’s faithfulness!

This year, we gather under the theme “Year of Discipleship: Nine Years of Faithfulness, A Lifetime of Discipleship.”

As we celebrate this milestone, we reflect on Luke 14:25–35, where Jesus reminds His followers that discipleship is a wholehearted commitment. True discipleship is not a casual walk—it is a daily choice to put Christ first, to carry our cross, and to live with purpose. In these nine years, God has shaped us through challenges and victories, teaching us that following Jesus is both a gift and a calling.

We invite everyone to join us on Friday, 29 May 2026 at 3:00 PM for a meaningful celebration of God’s grace.

Our anniversary program includes:
• Thanksgiving Worship Service
• Agape Dinner
• Joyful Fellowship with presentations from our ministries

We are blessed to welcome our special guests, Rev. Marianne Bucud and Pastor Aaron Bucud of Oasis of Grace UMC.

May this celebration renew our commitment to walk with Christ, grow as disciples, and serve as one fellowship.

This Week at UCCP Abu Dhabi Fellowship

This week, Rev. J‑ar reminded us that Theophany—God making Himself known—is not just a moment in Scripture but a continuous presence in our journey. As he shared, “The Word became flesh and dwelt among us” (John 1:14), revealing that Jesus is the direct revelation of God, our ever‑present companion in life.

We were invited to reflect on Theophany as:

• A Prayer for Our Neighbors — God’s covenant is communal, calling us to lift one another in prayer.
• A Call to Participate in God’s Covenant — Discipleship means stepping beyond comfort, moving beyond limits, and joining God’s work in the world.
• A Protection as We Journey Together — Like a womb‑like space, God shelters us as we walk in unity and service.

Rev. J‑ar reminded us that Theophany is God’s way of saying He is our Kasama (companion), Katipan (covenant partner), and Kamanlalakbay (fellow traveler). In every season, God is both revealing Himself and journeying with us.

As we continue in this Year of Discipleship, may we go, move, explore, and step forward—trusting the God who appears, guides, and stays with us.

To God be the glory!

ALAB Chorale sings “You Are Mine”

During our choir devotional session, Teacher Lot led us through a beautiful reflection on God’s promises—words that echo the message of the song “You Are Mine.”

We were reminded that:
• In Matthew 11:28, Jesus invites the weary to come and find rest in Him.
• In Isaiah 41:10, God assures us of His strength, help, and unfailing presence.
• In Romans 8:38–39, nothing in all creation can separate us from His love.
• In John 10:14, the Good Shepherd knows us deeply—and we belong to Him.

These verses paint one clear truth:
God calls us by name, holds us close, and never lets us go.

As ALAB Chorale sang “You Are Mine,” we carried these promises in our hearts. The song became more than music—it became a reminder that in every season, God speaks to us: “Do not be afraid. I am with you. You are mine.”

May this message bring comfort and courage to everyone who hears it.

Praise God for a Powerful 3‑Week Discipleship Session with Bro. Nathaniel Tonacao!

We joyfully concluded our 3‑Week Discipleship Session with Bro. Nathaniel Tonacao, and what a blessing it has been. Each week brought us deeper into the true essence of discipleship — shaping our hearts, sharpening our understanding, and calling us to walk more intentionally in the footsteps of Christ.

This journey didn’t just add knowledge.
It lifted us to a new level of wisdom, conviction, and commitment as followers of Jesus.

To everyone who joined, learned, shared, and grew — thank you for walking this path together.

To our dear speaker, Bro. Nathaniel, we are grateful for your heart and your ministry.

Let’s continue living out what we have learned — renewed within, reaching out, and ready to begin.
