Council 16138 to celebrate 10th Founding Anniversary
The Knights of Columbus is going to celebrate its 10th Founding Anniversary on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at the Parokya ng San Lorenzo Ruiz, Dasmariรฑas City, Cavite.
34 Catholic men of the then called San Lorenzo Ruiz Pastoral Center voluntarily formed the Knights of Columbus headed by Rev. Fr. Marco Cyril R. Convento and were officially recognized on January 25, 2015 by the Supreme Council of the Knights of Columbus in Connecticut, United States of America.
Thus the San Lorenzo Ruiz Dasmariรฑas Council 16138 was officially installed. The Charter Roll Certificate was personally delivered by then State Deputy of Luzon, Sir Knight Ramoncito A. Ocampo, and assisted by District Deputy of I-35, Sir Knight Tolentino C. Mantillas+. The certificate was warmly received by Rev. Fr. Sir Knight Hermogenes G. Rafal+, the Parish Administrator of San Lorenzo Ruiz Pastoral Center.

The charter members will receive certificates of appreciation for volunteering themselves to group together 10 years ago and formed the San Lorenzo Ruiz Dasmariรฑas Council 16138. The appreciation certificates will be signed and handed over by their current chaplain and Parish Priest of Parokya ng San Lorenzo Ruiz, Rev. Fr. Herald Mart C. Arenal, and the current District Deputy of I-35, Sir Knight Gerardo C. Sergio.
