As part of our continuing devotion, we joyfully invite everyone to the 9th Novenary Mass in Honor of San Guillermo de Aquitania, to be held at the Parokya ni San Guillermo de Aquitania, Dalaguete, Cebu, on January 9, 2026, at 4:00 PM.

San Guillermo de Aquitania is remembered in history as a man of deep faith, courage, and conversion. Born into nobility, he chose to leave behind power and worldly honor to follow Christ more closely, dedicating his life to prayer, humility, and service to the Church. His journey reminds us that true greatness is found not in status or wealth, but in total surrender to God’s will. Through the centuries, his witness continues to inspire the faithful to live lives rooted in holiness, perseverance, and trust in God.

This meaningful Eucharistic celebration will be presided over by His Excellency, The Most Reverend Alberto Uy, D.D., marking a special moment of grace for our parish community. As we reflect on the rich history and spiritual legacy of San Guillermo de Aquitania, may we be encouraged to strengthen our faith, remain steadfast in times of trial, and become living witnesses of Christ in our daily lives.

Let us come together as one parish family to honor our patron saint, remember his enduring legacy, and entrust our prayers and intentions to God through his intercession. May this novenary deepen our devotion and renew our commitment to serve God and one another with faithful hearts.

At the heart of the Church is the Eucharist—Christ offering Himself fully out of love. ✨
This image powerfully reflects the vocation of a Religious Brother: a life centered on God, shaped by service, and strengthened by a daily yes to His call. With hands lifted in reverence, we are reminded that every vocation begins not with our own plans, but with surrender to God’s will.

To be a Religious Brother is to live a life of quiet strength and faithful dedication—serving God’s people through prayer, ministry, community life, and humble work. It is a vocation that may not always seek attention, but it profoundly transforms lives through presence, obedience, and love. In saying “Yes” to this calling, one chooses a path of purpose, discipline, and deep spiritual joy.

In a world searching for meaning, God still calls men to stand in faith, to serve without fear, and to offer their lives for something greater than themselves. A gentle smile, a simple habit, and a life wholly offered to God 🤍
In a world that often rushes, competes, and makes noise, the vocation of a Religious Sister quietly reminds us that peace still exists—and it begins with saying yes to God’s call. This image reflects a life rooted in prayer, service, and joyful surrender, where simplicity becomes strength and silence becomes a place of deep encounter with the Lord.

To be a Religious Sister is not to escape the world, but to love it more deeply—by serving the poor, teaching the young, caring for the sick, and praying unceasingly for all. It is a vocation shaped by faith, community, sacrifice, and an unshakable trust that God is enough. We sincerely apologize that not all the Popes of the Roman Catholic Church are shown in this image, as it is impossible to visually include every successor of Saint Peter across two thousand years of history.

This image is meant to be a symbolic tribute, not a complete record—a visual reminder of the unbroken apostolic succession that flows from Christ Himself, through Saint Peter, and onward through centuries of faith, sacrifice, guidance, and service to the Church. At the center is Jesus Christ, the true Head of the Church, from whom all authority and mission come. Surrounding Him are selected popes from different eras, representing the many generations of shepherds who carried the burden of leadership in times of persecution, reform, growth, division, and renewal.

Though many popes are missing—especially those from the early centuries, the medieval period, and those whose lives are known more through history than portraits—their legacy is not forgotten. Each pope, whether widely known or scarcely remembered, played a role in guarding doctrine, celebrating the sacraments, and guiding the faithful according to the needs of their time. Some served briefly, some endured great trials, some became saints, and others quietly fulfilled their duty—but all were part of the same sacred mission.

This image honors continuity, not completeness. It reminds us that the Church is bigger than any single face or era, and that faith is carried forward not by images alone, but by obedience, prayer, and trust in God’s promise that He would remain with His Church until the end of time. To serve the Lord is not merely to stand at the altar, but to offer one’s whole heart with peace, humility, and purity. In the silence of prayer and the simplicity of service, God forms souls who are willing to listen, to obey, and to love without seeking recognition.

This image reminds us that every act of service—no matter how small—becomes sacred when done for God alone. Surrounded by the witness of the saints who once walked the same path, today’s young servants are invited to continue the mission: to guard what is holy, to remain faithful to the Eucharist, and to live a life rooted in prayer.
