Linayag Artists joined the “Establishing a Common Understanding on the Role of Faith in Peacebuilding” seminar, an initiative of the Mindanao People’s Peace Movement (MPPM) in collaboration with Southern Christian College. Held at SCC AVC 2, the seminar underscored that faith and religion should not divide, but rather foster unity and inclusivity among diverse communities, setting the tone for meaningful dialogue.
Participants explored how spiritual beliefs can bridge differences, promote reconciliation, and sustain peace. Building on these themes, the event sought to inspire young leaders to harness both faith and cultural diversity as vital drivers of Mindanao’s peacebuilding journey.
For Linayag Artists, whose works are dedicated to promoting peace, the seminar provided valuable insights into how faith can deepen the impact of creative expression. It reinforced the idea that art, much like spirituality, has the power to transcend boundaries, spark conversations, and bring communities together in the shared pursuit of lasting harmony.
