The OAD-Lay Blessed Jerome of Recanati Chapters of Cotabato City, Bansalan, Davao del Sur, and Zamboanga City joyfully celebrate the Feast Day of our Holy Father, St. Augustine of Hippo.

With grateful hearts, we come together in prayer and thanksgiving, inspired by the life, teachings, and holiness of St. Augustine, whose restless heart found true peace in God.

After the Holy Mass, we will gather together for a Fiesta Agape, a joyful fellowship of love, gratitude, and brotherhood as one OAD-Lay family. May this celebration strengthen our friendship, unity, and commitment to our vocation and mission.

May St. Augustine continue to intercede for us and guide us to seek God, love Him deeply, and serve Him faithfully.

Today, we honor the life of a great saint whose journey from restlessness to conversion reminds us of the boundless mercy and love of God.

St. Augustine teaches us that our hearts will always long for something greater until we find our true rest in God. May his life inspire us to seek the truth, deepen our faith, embrace conversion, and serve God and His people with love.

May we continue to walk in the footsteps of St. Augustine, seeking God above all things and allowing His grace to transform our lives.

The OAD Lay Community of Bl. Jerome of Recanati – Cotabato Chapter held its Investiture during the OAD Lay Mindanao Assembly, led by the Spiritual Director of Mindanao, Rev. Fr. Anthony A. Booc, OAD, with the presence of the Sister General Rev. Sor Grace Gomez, OADs and fellow OAD Lay communities from different chapters.

Our heartfelt gratitude to the Camiguin, Nasipit, and Butuan Chapters for warmly welcoming the Cotabato Chapter and for sharing with us this beautiful celebration of faith, fellowship, and fraternity.

May this gathering strengthen our bond as one OAD Lay family and inspire us to faithfully live our vocation in service to God and the Church.
