𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐚 𝐬𝐞𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐲.

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐇𝐔𝐑𝐂𝐇 𝐈𝐒 𝐀𝐍 𝐎𝐑𝐆𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐒𝐌, 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐀𝐍 𝐎𝐑𝐆𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐙𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍.
𝐀𝐛𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐲. 𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐢𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐦 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝, 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐦 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐥𝐲 𝐝𝐢𝐞.

We need to embrace the freedom and life of the Holy Spirit, but we also need wisdom, structure and order.

A river without banks doesn’t flow with power. It becomes a puddle.

Light refracted through a prism produces a beautiful rainbow. But light intentionally focused into a laser can cut through steel.

Ezekiel’s valley didn’t just need the breath of God. It needed the bones connected and arranged in the right order.

We need both.

The breath and the bones.
The Spirit and structure.
Freedom and order.
Power and wise administration.

Thank God for apostolic graces and those with the gift of administration in every local church. Their gift may not always be the most visible, but it helps create the banks through which the river can flow.

“God has appointed these in the church… gifts of healing, helping, administrating…” 1 Cor. 12:28

Don’t you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can’t you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin?

But because you are stubborn and refuse to turn from your sin, you are storing up terrible punishment for yourself. For a day of anger is coming, when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed.

He will judge everyone according to what they have done. He will give eternal life to those who keep on doing good, seeking after the glory and honor and immortality that God offers.

Our hearts are heavy as we hear about the tragic school shooting in Tacloban involving young lives. We grieve with the families, friends, and community affected by this heartbreaking event. We continue to pray for comfort, healing, and peace for everyone impacted.

In moments like these, we are reminded that our children, families, and communities need more than ever the love, guidance, and support that come from strong relationships and Godly foundations.

"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." — Proverbs 22:6

For the past month, our church has been intentionally walking alongside families in our community—listening, encouraging, praying, and sharing God's love. We believe it is time for the Church to stand together and help restore the biblical principle of family: a place of love, discipleship, accountability, and hope.
