🔊 Can you hear God?

What if God has been speaking all along, and we’ve just been too distracted to notice? Sometimes, his voice comes quietly in the middle of our busiest, hardest, and most uncertain moments. And maybe, learning to listen again is part of how we truly thrive.

Join us this Sunday, May 24, 2026, for the ICOC Davao South Sector Sunday Worship Service as we continue The Pursuit of God series, from the book of A.W. Tozer.

THE VEIL IS GONE—STEP IN! ✨

Yesterday’s Sunday Worship Service reminded us of one powerful truth: the veil is gone—so step in. 🙏

Through Jesus’ once-for-all sacrifice, God did not just crack the door open—he tore down the barrier completely. No more distance. No more curtain. No more waiting outside. Because of Christ, we can draw near to God with sincere hearts, hold tightly to hope, and persevere with faith until the very end.

“Removing the Veil” challenged us to ask: What still holds us back from fully entering God’s presence? Pride? Fear? Sin? Distractions? Jesus already made the way—our call is to walk in it.

More than the lesson, yesterday also reminded us why fellowship matters so much. From heartfelt worship to meaningful conversations, shared laughter, and encouraging moments after service, the day reflected the beauty of doing life together as disciples. Sometimes, God strengthens us not only through the sermon, but also through the simple presence of brothers and sisters who help us stay faithful.

Let’s keep drawing near. Keep showing up. Keep fighting the good fight. And above all, let’s not stay outside when God has already opened the door.

Step in. The way is open.

WHAT'S BEHIND THE VEIL? Come and see.

The International Churches of Christ Davao South Sector invites you to our Sunday Worship Service:

đź“… April 26 (Sunday)
⏰ 10:00 a.m.
📍 Snooze Inn and Suites (beside Petron Matina)

This week, we continue *The Pursuit of God* series with a powerful sermon from Chapter 3: "Removing the Veil.”
God created us to live close to him—right in his presence, not at a distance. Yet so often, something holds us back. This lesson calls us to move beyond just knowing about God and begin truly experiencing him—personally, daily, and deeply. As the passage reminds us, God is already inviting us in; the question is, will we draw near?
If your heart has been restless, searching, or longing for more—this is your moment.
If you’ve been standing on the outside, this is your invitation to step in.
Bring your family. Invite a friend. Come as you are.
Let’s seek God together and pursue His presence—fully, sincerely, and with open hearts. 🙏

What does it really mean to thrive in your faith?
Not just doing the right things… but experiencing real, inside-out change.
Many of us know God as Creator. We follow Jesus as Lord. But the Holy Spirit? Sometimes he feels distant, unclear—even overlooked. And thriving as a Christian begins with a real relationship with him.
This Friday, we’ll explore what it means to have fellowship with the Holy Spirit—a relationship that transforms the heart, not just behavior.

✨ Come and discover:
• How intimacy with God leads to true growth
• What it means to call God “Abba, Father.”
• How the Spirit works in your everyday life

Because we don’t just want to survive spiritually, we are called to thrive.

đź•– 7 PM | Friday, April 10
📍 Snooze Inn & Suites, Matina (beside Petron Gasoline Station)
🍽️ Please take an early dinner before coming, or bring your own snacks.

Bring a friend. Come with an open heart.
Let’s thrive together in the Spirit.

"BY HIS WOUNDS WE ARE HEALED"

On Good Friday, we remember the cross — not as a symbol of defeat, but of love in action.
Jesus chose the cross. He carried our sin, endured the pain, and gave his life so we could find peace, healing, and hope.
His sacrifice was personal. His love still reaches us today.
Let this day move us to pause, reflect, and draw closer to God.

“AS I HAVE LOVED YOU LOVE ONE ANOTHER”

Today, we remember a love that chose to serve, sacrifice, and remain faithful until the end.
Before the cross, Jesus knelt down, washed feet, and showed us what real love looks like—humble, intentional, and selfless. Jesus didn’t just speak about love, he lived it.
As we reflect on this Maundy Thursday, let’s ask ourselves: How can we love like Jesus today?
Let’s choose to love deeply, forgive freely, and serve wholeheartedly—just as he did for us.
