As we begin a new academic year, the University of San Jose-Recoletos Balamban Campus gathered as one community to celebrate the Mass of the Holy Spirit, entrusting our journey of learning, growth, and service to God's loving guidance.
Symbolized by fire, the Holy Spirit reminds us of God's constant presence—guiding our steps, strengthening our hearts, and renewing our spirit. As we embark on a year filled with new opportunities and challenges, may this sacred flame inspire us to seek wisdom, pursue excellence with humility, and use our gifts in service of others.

Today, we came together as a community to celebrate the Holy Mass, warmly welcoming our students, transferees, and returning students as we embark on a new academic year. With grateful hearts, we entrusted our journey ahead to God's grace, wisdom, and loving guidance.

As we embrace these new beginnings, may this school year be filled with meaningful learning, lasting friendships, and growth opportunities. Let us be inspired to pursue excellence, deepen our faith, and serve others with compassion, courage, and purpose.

Yesterday March 26, 2026, the entire USJR Balamban Campus community—from every grade level—came together for the Josenians Baccalaureate Mass, a meaningful celebration honoring our graduating students of the School Year 2025–2026.

This special gathering was more than just a ceremony; it was a heartfelt thanksgiving for the milestones achieved and the dedication shown by our graduates throughout their academic journey. We also took this precious opportunity to recognize and commend our teachers and staff, whose unwavering commitment contributions have been the foundation of our students’ growth and success.

As we celebrated their hard work and perseverance, we also lifted our prayers, asking for God’s guidance and blessings as they embark on their next chapters. May they continue to strive for excellence, walk with purpose, and let faith lead the way wherever life takes them.

𝑼𝑺𝑱-𝑹 𝑺𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔 𝑹𝒆𝒄𝒆𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒂𝒄𝒓𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒇𝒊𝒓𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏

March 19, 2025 — “Be sealed with the Gift of the Holy Spirit.” (cf. Acts 2:38)

On this blessed day, the students of University of San Jose–Recoletos, Balamban Campus gathered in faith at La Consolacion Chapel to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, administered by Rev. Msgr. Rey Vicente Pinagunda. Accompanied by their parents, who stood as witnesses and pillars of guidance, the confirmands experienced a profound moment of spiritual growth and renewal.

Through this sacred sacrament, they were sealed with the gifts of the Holy Spirit, strengthening their faith and deepening their commitment to live as true followers of Christ. Surrounded by a community of support and love, the students embraced this milestone with reverence and gratitude, marking a significant step in their journey as faithful members of the Church.

May this moment serve as a lasting reminder of their calling to embody Christ’s teachings in their daily lives—guided by wisdom, courage, and unwavering faith, as they continue to grow in service, compassion, and devotion.

Today’s Mass for Ash Wednesday was marked by a solemn and reflective atmosphere as the students, faculty and staff gathered to begin the Lenten season.

During the homily, the priest reminded everyone of the importance of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving as ways to grow closer to God. After the homily, ashes made from blessed palm branches were distributed, and each person approached the altar to receive a cross marked on their forehead. As the priest said, “Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return,” the church fell into quiet reverence.

The celebration of Ash Wednesday during today’s Mass served as a powerful call to repentance, humility, and spiritual renewal.
