With heavy hearts, the AlcoyBBC Family bids farewell to our beloved brother in Christ, Brod Delfin G. Cario. Though tears fill our eyes in this time of parting, we rejoice in the blessed hope that for every child of God, death is not the end, but the beginning of eternal life in Heaven.

The pain of losing someone dear reminds us of the frailty of life and the certainty that one day, each of us will face eternity. Yet for those who have trusted the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior, there is peace and assurance beyond the grave.

The Bible says:
“But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.” — 1 Thessalonians 4:13

“For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” — Philippians 1:21

“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” — Revelation 21:4

As we remember the life and legacy of Brod Delfin, may we also reflect on our own relationship with God and the assurance of salvation through Jesus Christ. Heaven is a prepared place for a prepared people.
Please continue to pray for the bereaved family during this difficult time.

As we gather for the Funeral Service from Day 1 to Day 5, we are reminded that the preaching of God’s Word is not for the dead, but for the living. In times like these, hearts are opened to reflect on eternity, the reality of death, and the blessed hope found only in the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible clearly teaches that eternal life is found through faith in Jesus Christ alone.

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” — Romans 10:13

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” — John 14:6

“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:” — Hebrews 9:27

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” — John 5:24

May every message preached during these services point souls to Christ, bring comfort to the grieving, and remind us all to be prepared for eternity.
