1. Faith is Our Greatest Power
—> Our most important asset is not money, strength, or skill—it is faith (Matthew 17:20).
—>· This power enables the impossible: a person of faith can smile even in the face of danger.

2. Faith Builds Our Confidence
—>Faith is not wishful thinking; it is confidence in what we hope for and assurance in what we do not see (Hebrews 11:1).
—> The Source of our Faith Determines the Quality of our Faith
—> The quality of our faith is determined by where we place it. If we place our faith in people, we will eventually face disappointment.
—> True faith must rest in God alone.

3. Faith is Revealed in Tests
—> Your faith becomes visible through the trials it endures. (1 Peter 1:7)
—> Your faith is revealed by the size of the trial it endures. Precious faith is proven through difficulties.
—> Only a tested faith can please God.

4. Faith Prepare Us for God's Work
—> Heaven tests our faith as a prerequisite for trusting us with a greater purpose (James 1:2-4).
—> You cannot be trusted by God until you have been tested. Qualification precedes trust.
—> To be used mightily, we must first pass the tests that assign us authority before God.

SERMON HIGHLIGHTS | Crisis of Faith

Matthew 17, a known chapter stating that by having faith as small as a mustard seed, it can move a mountain. Have you asked yourself why sometimes our faith is in a crisis?

Crisis of faith means failure to apply God’s power to a specific/difficult situation. In Greek, the word Oligopistos means “brief” or underdeveloped faith-> it describes a person who believes in God but doubts in the moment.

Notice how Jesus chose that little seed, because He knows we can relate to it daily. Our seed, our faith can grow into something the Lord rejoices to as long as the anchor is Him!

REMEMBER:
~> a crisis occurs when the problem looks bigger than God

Don’t be troubled brothers and sisters, God wants us to commit our ways to Him. Here are 5 reminders to help us develop our faith:

01. Ask God to help our unbelief.
02. Apply God’s power (even the tiniest faith).
03. Develop your faith by knowing its anchor, Jesus Christ.
04. Apply God’s Word for it says that our God is so BIG!
05. “Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.”
