"Is Profit Maximization the Sole Motivation in Business?
Every business exists to make profits. Without profits, a business cannot survive and remain sustainable. Without profits business will fold up and employees lay off.

The question is: Is profit maximization your sole motivation in business? If profit maximization is the sole objective, it will certainly satisfy shareholders' demand and increase their treasury. But then we will have polluted air and water, exploitation of workers made in the image of God, shoddy products and services, focus on the here and now, and disregard to the call and obedience to make disciples of all nations.
Business as Missions (BAM) teaches that a business must make profits, but it must also make disciples. Business exits as a conduit to bless others! It is business for blessings (Genesis 12).
If you are a businessman, don't seek to be someone else, for that is God's calling for your life. As a businessman you are called to dedicate your business and use it as a platform for Missions - making money and making disciples! It goes well beyond profit maximization"
