Let us pray for more holy vocations in the Church

🙏 In collaboration with the Rogationist of the Heart of Jesus, the CBCP-Episcopal Commission on Vocations, Directors of Vocations of the Philippines and VocNet.PH together with the Whole Universal Church will celebrate on April 26, 2026, Forth Sunday of Easter, Good Shepherd Sunday, the 63RD WORLD DAY OF PRAYER FOR VOCATIONS with the theme: BOKASYON: Bukas sa Misyon.

From Cebu City, Philippines — thank you for your prayers and support for the Redemptorist missionary vocation. After four days of prayerful presentations and discernment, the seminary admissions board accepted 15 applicants to enter St. Alphonsus Collegiate Formation House for the 2026–2027 formation year.
Visayas: Tacloban 6, Cebu 1, Iloilo(Capiz)1.
Mindanao: Iligan 3, Davao 4.

𝔻𝕒𝕪 𝟛 𝕠𝕗 𝟛 | ℝ𝕖𝕕𝕖𝕞𝕡𝕥𝕠𝕣𝕚𝕤𝕥 𝕊𝕥𝕒𝕟𝕘𝕘𝕒𝕤𝕤𝕚𝕟𝕘𝕖𝕣 𝕍𝕠𝕔𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟 ℂ𝕒𝕞𝕡 𝟚𝟘𝟚𝟝

As we concluded our 3-day Redemptorist Stanggassinger Vocation Camp, Day 3 became a grace-filled ending to a meaningful journey. We began by celebrating the Holy Eucharist on the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, entrusting our young men to Mary, our Mother.

After Mass, Fr. Cantiller shared a meaningful talk on how to discern—listening to God’s voice, understanding one’s desires, and choosing the path that leads to deeper love and service.
Before heading out, the campers spent time writing their personal reflections, allowing them to process their learnings, graces, and experiences throughout the camp—capturing moments of awakening, friendship, and God’s gentle call.

We then traveled together to “Parola”, where we enjoyed a joyful boodle fight, sharing food, laughter, and brotherhood. There, the campers also offered their words of gratitude and insights, expressing how the camp shaped their hearts and opened new possibilities for their vocation journey.
To our campers: Thank you for giving your time, openness, and generosity of heart in responding to God’s invitation.

𝔻𝕒𝕪 𝟚 𝕠𝕗 𝟛 | ℝ𝕖𝕕𝕖𝕞𝕡𝕥𝕠𝕣𝕚𝕤𝕥 𝕊𝕥𝕒𝕟𝕘𝕘𝕒𝕤𝕤𝕚𝕟𝕘𝕖𝕣 𝕍𝕠𝕔𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟 ℂ𝕒𝕞𝕡 𝟚𝟘𝟚𝟝

Our second day was filled with grace, movement, and meaningful encounters as we continued journeying with these young men discerning God’s call in their lives.

We began the day by celebrating the 2nd Sunday of Advent, preparing our hearts with hope and joyful expectation. In the morning, we listened to a Pep Talk on “The Redemptorist Way of Life,” and in the afternoon, the campers reflected deeply during a session on Self-Awareness—a moment to pause, look within, and understand how God speaks through our own experiences.

We express our heartfelt gratitude to the Religious of the Virgin Mary at St. Mary’s Academy of Capiz for always welcoming us and providing a venue for our sports and recreation time. Your generosity makes our mission lighter and our young men happier!

After dinner, the evening came alive with our Talent’s Night, where the campers showcased their gifts—singing, dancing, performing, and celebrating the joy that comes from sharing one’s God-given talents. Thank you, dear campers, for your courage and creativity!

To close the day, we returned to silence and prayer through the Examen, recognizing God’s presence in every conversation, laughter, challenge, and moment of grace.
