Some reviews touch the heart in ways words can hardly describe. 🤍

Thank you for seeing beyond my story and finding a piece of your own in This Grace—a beautiful reminder that healing doesn’t always mean forgetting, but sometimes means looking back with a different heart.

Nobody talks about what a CHD diagnosis does to a marriage or relationship.

Not because love disappears. Because it gets buried under logistics.

One of you sleeps at the hospital. One of you goes home to the other kids. You start living parallel lives under the same roof, trading updates like shift workers instead of talking like partners.

You grieve differently, on different timelines, and sometimes that looks like distance instead of pain.

One of you wants to talk about it. One of you needs to not talk about it just to function today. Neither of you is wrong. You’re just surviving the same fire in different ways.

Date nights become a luxury you can’t justify when there’s a surgery to save for. Intimacy becomes something you’re both too exhausted to reach for. Arguments happen about things that have nothing to do with the real thing, because the real thing is too big to argue about directly.

Nobody warns you that surviving your child’s heart can quietly test your own.

And yet so many CHD couples make it through. Not because it was easy. Because somewhere in the hardest year of your life, you looked at each other in a hospital hallway and remembered you were still on the same side.

If your relationship has been stretched thin by this journey, you are not failing at marriage. You are surviving something most couples never have to face.

Share this for every couple holding it together through something nobody prepared them for.

Some books give you answers.
Others simply remind you that you're not alone.

This Grace is not just a story about my life.

It's about every moment when life doesn't go according to plan. It's about learning to trust when the future is uncertain, finding hope when fear feels louder, and discovering that grace often appears long before we recognize it.

Whether you're a parent, a caregiver, an advocate, someone walking through loss, or simply searching for meaning in life's hardest seasons, I wrote this book with you in mind.

Because we've all asked questions we couldn't answer.
We've all carried burdens that felt too heavy.
And we've all needed someone to remind us that there is still hope.

If you're looking for a story that is honest, deeply personal, and ultimately hopeful, I invite you to read This Grace.

Perhaps you'll find a piece of your own story within its pages.

💙 Sometimes the book you pick up for someone else ends up speaking directly to your own heart.

If This Grace has encouraged your heart, I’d be honored if you left an Amazon review. Every review helps this message of hope reach another parent, another grieving heart, or another soul searching for grace.

💛 Thank you for reading. Thank you for believing. Thank you for helping hope echo farther.

Reading about people whose lives are different from yours isn’t meant to change who you are.

It’s not a threat. It’s just a window into understanding that the world is bigger than your own experience.

These books are important for all of us.

Every year, thousands of Filipino families receive news that changes everything:

“Your child has a congenital heart defect.”

What follows is a journey most people never see — the fundraising, the waiting, the praying, the fighting.

Let It Echo exists to walk that journey with them. And This Grace was written to remind them:

One dinner. One conversation. A movement of hope.

If you know a heart warrior family, share this with them. They need to know they are not alone.

“I’m afraid to continue reading because it’s too sad.”

It’s something many readers say after the first few chapters of His Grace.

They’re right - the story begins with heartbreak. But it doesn’t end there.

This (His) Grace is not a story about grief. It’s a story about hope. As the pages turn, pain gives way to healing, purpose, and a deeper trust in God’s faithfulness.

If you’ve put the book down, this is your sign to pick it up again. The most hope-filled chapters are still ahead.

Keep reading. The story doesn’t end in loss—it leads to grace. 💙

Before This Grace was a book, it was a prayer.

A prayer whispered in a hospital hallway. A prayer that asked God — if you bring us through this, let it mean something.

He did. And it does.

This book is my answered prayer — that someone, somewhere, would read these pages and
feel less alone.

If that someone is you — welcome. I wrote this for you.
