"Pray as though everything depended on God. Work as though everything depended on you."

Faith is not only about praying, and it is not only about working hard. God invites us to do both with a sincere heart. We pray with full trust in His power, and we work with the strength He gives us each day. When effort and prayer go together, our life becomes a cooperation with God’s grace.

The more we depend on Him, the more He blesses the work we offer to Him.

"The good God would never inspire impossible desires in us."

Sometimes God places a desire in our hearts that feels too big or too difficult to reach. We begin to doubt ourselves and wonder if we are capable of what we feel called to do. But God does not plant a good desire without also giving the grace needed to fulfill it. What He begins in the heart, He also strengthens with His help.

If your desire leads you closer to love, faith, and goodness, trust that God Himself placed it there for a reason.

"Trust the past to God’s mercy, the present to His love, and the future to His providence."

It is easy to carry regrets from the past and worries about the future, and because of this, we lose peace in the present. But God invites us to place everything in His hands. His mercy covers what is behind us, His love sustains us today, and His providence prepares the path ahead. When we trust Him completely, the heart becomes lighter.

Peace comes when we believe that our life is guided by a God who never makes mistakes.

"Start by doing what is necessary, then what is possible, and suddenly you are doing the impossible."

Sometimes we feel overwhelmed because the road ahead looks too long or too hard. We want everything to change at once, but God often works step by step. When we do what is necessary today, He gives us the strength for what is possible tomorrow. Little by little, we begin to see that what once seemed impossible is now within reach.

With God’s help, every small step becomes part of something greater than we imagined.

Many times, we think that our worth depends on how much we achieve or how successful we become. But God looks at the heart, not at the results. He sees every effort, every sacrifice, and every moment we choose to remain faithful even when it is difficult. What seems small to the world can be very precious to Him.

"Do not be afraid. Open your heart to Christ and trust in His love."

Fear can close our hearts and make us feel alone, unsure, and restless. Yet Christ never asks us to face life by ourselves. When we open our hearts to Him, we allow His love to enter the places where fear once lived. His love gives strength, peace, and courage that the world cannot give.

Trusting in Christ does not remove every problem, but it fills the heart with the confidence that we are never alone.

"Jesus, I trust in You, even when I do not understand Your plans."

There are moments in life when God’s plans seem confusing and the road ahead feels uncertain. We pray, we wait, and still we do not understand why things happen the way they do. Yet true trust means believing even when we cannot see the whole picture. God sees what we cannot, and His plans are always guided by love.

Many people don’t know that Catholics believe angels protect us.

The Catholic Church teaches that God sends angels
to guide, guard, and protect His people.

The Bible says,
“He will command His angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways.” (Psalm 91:11)

Catholics believe that each person has a guardian angel
who watches over them with God’s permission.

Angels do not replace God.
They serve Him and help carry out His will.

In moments of danger, fear, or temptation,
many Catholics pray and ask their guardian angel for help.

God’s protection is always near,
even when we cannot see it.

Short Prayer

Heavenly Father,
thank You for the gift of the holy angels
who watch over Your people.

Send Your angels to guard us,
protect our families,
and guide us in every step we take.

Holy guardian angel,
pray for us and keep us safe
under the care of God.

Minsan hindi natin maiwasang mag-alala, lalo na kapag hindi agad dumarating ang sagot sa ating mga panalangin. Ngunit ipinapaalala sa atin ng banal na si Padre Pio na ang panalangin ay hindi kailanman nasasayang. Kahit tahimik ang Diyos, Siya ay kumikilos sa likod ng ating mga paghihintay.

Magtiwala ka. Ang Diyos ay maawain at sa tamang panahon, diringgin Niya ang panalangin ng pusong hindi tumitigil sa pag-asa. 🙏✨
