The Monsignor Al Schwartz Memorial Center (MASMC) was built to serve as the memorabilia of the Servant of God, Msgr. The Sisters of Mary began in Song-do Parish, Busan, South Korea, with a group of eleven women chosen to receive formal training as orphan mothers. Initially, the goal was to establish a lay society of orphan mothers. However, recognizing the need for a more organized and dedicated approach to serving orphaned children, Fr. Al decided that a committed and stable religious community would better ensure the program's longevity. As a result, the Sisters of Mary congregation was founded on August 15, 1964. From their humble beginnings, the Sisters of Mary have grown into a vibrant congregation. The Sisters' work is grounded in their deep commitment to love and service to the poor and they remain steadfast in their dedication to their founding ideals. Their legacy of 60 YEARS is a testament to their resilience and unwavering commitment to bringing the love of God in the hearts of those in need by making a difference in their lives, with the ultimate goal of saving their souls.
