Andrews University's Board of Trustees votes John Wesley Taylor V as president of the Adventist higher-education institution.

Since 2010, Dr. Taylor has served as an Associate Director of Education at the General Conference (GC) of Seventh-day Adventists, as well as an editor of College and University Dialogue and chair of the Board for The Journal of Adventist Education.

Andrews University is one of the four educational institutions overseen by the GC. Founded in 1874 as Battle Creek College, it is the oldest Adventist educational institution in the world.
