A Joyful Blessing for Our Parish Community✨

"Whoever serves me must follow me." — John 12:26

With hearts full of gratitude and joy, we congratulate Rev. Joseph Nortega, MI (Ministers of the Infirm, Camillians), who was ordained to the Diaconate on May 23, 2026.

As a son of Barangay Elihan and a member of our parish family, his ordination is a beautiful reminder that God continues to call ordinary people to extraordinary service. Through his generous “yes” to the Lord, may he become a living witness of Christ’s compassion, especially to the sick, the poor, and those in need of hope.

Today, the Saint Joseph Husband of Mary Parish – Inayawan community rejoices and gives thanks for this grace-filled milestone. May the Lord continue to guide, strengthen, and bless Rev. Joseph as he embraces his ministry with humility, faith, and a heart dedicated to serving others.

Congratulations, Rev. Joseph Nortega, MI! Your parish family is proud of you and continues to keep you in our prayers. 🩵🙏

DSYC 2026: DAY 3 | Choosing Goodness in Every Situation, and Letting Love Be Rooted in Each of Us. ✨💐

The Holy Mass was held in Moises Padilla on April 29, 2026, and was presided over by Rev. Fr. Paolo Eseller. During his homily, he reminded the youth not to take life for granted, emphasizing, “Ang aton kabuhi magahatag sang madamo nga sitwasyon kag temtasyon, kag sa tunga sina tanan, pilion naton ang maghimo sing maayo.” This served as a meaningful reminder for everyone to remain faithful and grounded in God despite life’s challenges.

Right after the Holy Mass, the youth from different vicariates united for the DSYC Clean-Up Drive along Magallon Streets and at the Municipal Hall. Following the clean-up activity, the delegates gathered for an inspiring talk on 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗥𝗼𝗱𝗻𝗲 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮, a Filipino environmental advocate from Romblon. Everyone was reminded that God blessed us with land to live on, water to drink, and air to breathe, and that protecting Mother Earth is one meaningful way of showing gratitude, love, and responsibility for His gifts.

In the afternoon, the energy and excitement continued as the DSYC participants enjoyed the much-awaited Larong Pinoy. Laughter filled the area as everyone participated in fun games like Bingo and the crowd favorite, catching the duck while blindfolded. It was both hilarious and challenging, but the representative from Inayawan amazed everyone by successfully catching the duck like a true champion.

As evening came, the most awaited and favorite part of every youth finally arrived — the Barrio Fiesta! The tables were filled with delicious food, refreshing drinks, tasty snacks, sweet desserts, and of course, the star of the feast — the flavorful lechon. Laughter, conversations, and shared meals made the night even more meaningful as the youth enjoyed one another’s company like one big family.

The excitement continued with “Saints in Me,” where everyone loudly cheered for their respective candidates with all their energy and support. The joy and enthusiasm of the youth filled the entire venue, making the night even more lively and memorable.

The evening was then beautifully highlighted by the Praise Jam, where everyone came together in worship and sang songs of praise and thanksgiving to the Lord with full hearts. It became a heartfelt moment as everyone deeply felt the meaning of every song being sung, and some were even moved to tears as emotions overflowed. In those quiet and emotional moments, everyone was reminded to “IGINHAWA DALOM KAG MAGPADAYUN “.

Indeed, the entire experience became a beautiful reminder that youth camp is more than laughter, games, and unforgettable moments. As they say, “Ang mga pamatan-on wala naga intra sa camp para sa yaga-yaga lamang.” Behind every smile, worship song, prayer, and shared story was a deeper encounter with God’s presence and love.

More than anything, the camp became a place where burdens were lifted, faith was renewed, and friendships were strengthened through Christ. The youth were reminded that no matter how uncertain life may feel, God’s love remains constant, faithful, and beyond measure. In every moment together, they discovered that their journey is not only about having fun, but also about growing closer to God and to one another.

𝐃𝐒𝐘𝐂 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔: 𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝟐 | 𝐏𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐬

The day began with the Holy Mass of the Vicariate of Sipalay, where Rev. Fr. Francis Dave Tripulca reminded the youth that it becomes difficult to continue life’s journey when Christ is not at the center. In his homily, he emphasized that "Ang tuod-tuod nga pamatan-on may Kristo sa ila tagipusuon" and "Kabudlay magpadayon kung wala si Kristo sa aton kabuhi"—a powerful reminder that true strength is found in God alone.

The Understanding Hope: Concurrent Sessions followed, inviting the youth to reflect on life’s realities—silent battles, personal struggles, and moments of doubt. It became a space of realization that hope is not the absence of pain, but the decision to keep trusting God through it all. And during the afternoon session—one of the most powerful moments of the day was the Testimonies: “Stories of Hope,” a semi-talkshow with Miss Faith Ann M. Servano and Sir Alcon Dupa-an, hosted by Miss Ira Tabino. Where they bravely shared their stories of struggle and healing—which faith became their living reminders that even in brokenness, God continues to restore, strengthen, and give purpose.

The experience was sealed through the Living Rosary, a solemn moment of unity and prayer, where every intention and struggle was lifted to God through Mary’s intercession. Day 2 stood as a reminder that even in silence, even in pain, hope continues to speak. And for every young heart still learning to rise again—padayon. 🩵✨
