On August 23, 2026, Sem. Cleve Andre Ero and Sem. Rowell Lobos took their Profession of Faith and Oath of Fidelity in the presence of Most Rev. Nolly C. Buco, prior to their upcoming diaconate ordination on August 27, 2026, at the Our Lady of the Annunciation Cathedral Parish.

Before receiving sacred orders, candidates publicly make these solemn declarations:
The Profession of Faith: A formal, public declaration where the candidates profess full belief in all that the Catholic Church teaches, holding fast to the truths of Sacred Scripture and Tradition.
The Oath of Fidelity: A sacred promise to always preserve communion with the Church, faithfully carry out their ministerial duties, and offer loyal obedience to the bishop and Church authority.

This critical rite marks their final step of spiritual preparation, ensuring they are ready to embrace their lifelong commitment to shepherd God's people with a heart of service. Please keep Sem. Cleve and Sem. Rowell in your fervent prayers as they count down the days to their ordination!

Most Rev. Emmanuel C. Trance, D.D., Bishop Emeritus of Catarman, is an alumnus of the University of Santo Tomas - Central Seminary and a beloved pastor and servant of the Church.
We join together in prayer, asking that he may continue to be a zealous shepherd of God’s people, always inspired by the love and example of the Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ.

Regency Program 2026- 2027

The Regency Program is an integral part in the formation of Seminarians in the Diocese of Catarman as it provides opportunity to immerse themselves in the life and mission of the Local Church, gain firsthand pastoral experience, and develop essential communication, leadership and interpersonal skills through service in parish communities.

This year’s Regency Program aptly started on the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. As they enter their assigned communities, they are reminded that the people do not expect perfect seminarians. Rather, they seek seminarians who possess the ability to love—with compassion, humility, understanding, and a genuine desire to serve. Through this experience, seminarians learn that authentic pastoral ministry begins not with perfection, but with a heart that reflects the love of Christ.
