LORD, SEND US THE RAIN! Rev. Fr. Paul I. Isorena, Parish Priest of St. John the Baptist Parish in Bato, convened a special emergency meeting today with Mayor Princess Vanessa A. Rodriguez and the municipal heads of offices to address the severe local water crisis and the looming threat of the super El Niño phenomenon.

𝟭𝟳𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 | 𝟱:𝟯𝟬 𝗔𝗠

This morning, we celebrated the Holy Eucharist for the 17th Sunday in Ordinary Time. The Gospel reminded us of Jesus’ words: "Lord, teach us to pray." And so we prayed — with hope, with trust, and with gratitude.

Following the Mass, we offered a special blessing for our grandparents. They are our roots. They carried the faith before us, built our families on prayer, and continue to intercede for us before God.

In honoring them today, we honor the gift of family, memory, and tradition that makes our Church alive.

To all our Lolo and Lola: Thank you for your "yes" to God all these years. May He return to you a hundredfold the love you have given to us.
