Anger was never meant to rule our hearts. Left unchecked, it doesn’t only wound us, it also hurts the people around us. That’s why God calls us not to let hatred take root, but to surrender our pain, frustration, and desire for control to Him.

𝗟𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀' (𝗪𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀) 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽
𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘀

God blesses as He chooses; but do we worship Him for who He is, or for what we want Him to do to bless us? Worship is not a formula for personal gain. It is an expression of trust in God's all-encompassing, all-sufficient grace.

The ladies learned the difference between Saul's worship and David's. May we become women after God's own heart. Idols can go unnoticed, but if God has our whole heart, He will be the singular source of our security and satisfaction.

Acts 13:22..I have found David, son of Jesse, a man after my own heart; he will do everything I want him to do.

Praise God for the evening together with sisters in Christ--all from different cities some 2-3 hours apart, and the faithful preparation of our facilitator from Greenville SC. We also welcomed a new member! Praise God!

𝗠𝗲𝗻'𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽
𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘀

God is not after our effort. He is after our heart. May we worship Him with a pure heart, a clean conscience, pure thanksgiving, and pure awe, drawing near to Him with full assurance because of what Jesus has done, not because of our personal merit.

As brothers, we are learning to keep each other accountable because idols are bound up with our emotions. They are disguised as good things, like wealth, relationships, or even ministry.

Exodus 20:5
You shall not worship them (idols) or serve them; for I am a jealous God...

When we choose to honor God, we honor everyone around us—especially our parents. Let this memory verse remind our hearts that even in difficulty, honoring our parents is likewise honoring to the Lord.
