๐Ÿ“– FRUIT OF FAITHFULNESS
Pastor Eli Chano

Faith and faithfulness are closely related.

It is not merely a matter of trusting God; it is also a matter of being trustworthy. Faith is the root of our relationship with God, while faithfulness is its fruit.

The Foundation of Faithfulness Is God

Lamentations 3:22

- Have faith in order to produce faithfulness.
- Faith is the root; faithfulness is the fruit.
- Faithfulness is not about achieving your desires or gaining possessions.
- We remain connected to the Root because of our faith in God.

Galatians 5:22
- In Galatians 5, the focus is not simply on our faith or belief in God but on our character and conduct.
- Faithfulness means being consistently reliable, loyal, and trustworthy.
- Our faithfulness is connected to our salvation.
1 Corinthians 1:8

Prophetic Future
John 3:16
(The Promise of Eternal Life and Future Salvation)
- We are sinners, but God's love brings salvation.

To Whom Should We Demonstrate Our Faithfulness?

A. TOWARD GOD

1. Through Our Perseverance
Continue faithfully. Do not be an inconsistent Christian who only appears occasionally in church.
God is pleased and glorified when you remain faithful.
If you are here today, it is a sign of your faithfulness.
Pray for those who have drifted away.

2. Through Our Purity
1 Peter 1:15
The God who called you is holy.
Guard your purity and remain faithful.
Live a life of moral integrity.
Never surrender the banner of being a Christian.

3. Through Obedience
Acts 14:22, Acts 16:22, Acts 8:13
They remained steadfast through suffering and prayer.
We must continue walking in obedience to God.

B. TOWARD OTHERS
1. An Unfaithful Person Brings Pain
Proverbs 25:19
Matthew 5:16

When people see our faithfulness, they will glorify God.
Do not be late; this is God's time.
Being habitually late reflects unfaithfulness.
Respect the time of others and the time of God.

Faithfulness in Different Areas:

1. Marriage โ€” Proverbs 20:6
Remain faithful to your spouse.
2. Friendship โ€” Proverbs 17:17
Be genuine and do not stay only when you need something.
3. Work โ€” Ephesians 6:5โ€“7
Work as though you are serving the Lord. Serve wholeheartedly.
4. Small Things โ€” Luke 16:10
Be trustworthy in little things as well as in great things.
5. Church โ€” Romans 12:5
6. Show faithfulness to your church. We are one body in Christ.
7. Resources โ€” Luke 16:11
Be faithful in managing what God has entrusted to you.

C. TOWARD OURSELVES
Have confidence in yourself, but never set the Lord aside.

We live in two worlds:
1. Public World
- This includes work, relationships, and social life.
-The way we live before others reflects our character.
- This is how people see and think of us.

2. Private World
- This is where our sense of self-worth is formed.
- Others may think less of you in the public world, but the Lord says, "You are My child, and I will protect you."
- Do not believe the world's lies that you are incapable.
- Declare, "I am a child of the King."
- The Lord is the One who truly believes in you.
- He has done the greatest work for us and will never look down on us.
- Thank You, Lord, for giving us worth and value.

Your significance does not come from what you have but from who you are. Your significance comes from who you are in Christ.
We have been bought by the blood of Jesus Christ.
He has cleansed and saved us.
Be faithful to yourself, your work, and your responsibilities.
Do not compare yourself with others.
You are somebody in the eyes of God.

CONCLUSION:
"It is what you have and what you can doโ€”that is faithfulness."

Colossians 2:10
You and I are complete in Christ.
You are unique, special, and precious in the eyes of the Lord.
Declare, "I am complete in Christ."
We are safe, secure, and complete in the Lord.
Surrender and yield to God.
We are saved, complete, and accepted.
Surrender wholly and faithfully to God.
Your significance comes from who you are in Christ, not from what you have.

Ptr. Elie Chano

Many people think gentleness is weakness, but biblical gentleness is strength shown through love, humility, and self-control.

The Hebrew word โ€œchesedโ€ means loyal and faithful love. It speaks of Godโ€™s enduring loving-kindness.

Jesus Himself was called the Friend of sinners because He showed compassion, patience, and kindness to people who were broken and rejected.

In Ephesians 2:7โ€“8, we are reminded that God reveals the riches of His grace through His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

Gentleness describes the loving-kindness of God.
Gentleness reveals the mercy of God.

1. Matthew 7:12
This verse teaches the principle of reciprocity. What we desire to receive from others should also be what we are willing to give. Often, what we sow is what we reap.
2. Ephesians 5:1
The word โ€œfollowersโ€ means to imitate or mimic. As children of God, we are called to imitate Him. We reflect His character when we choose to be kind, compassionate, and loving toward others.

To truly look at others means to place ourselves in their situation and understand what they are going through.
People do not care how much we know until they know how much we care.
Kindness is shown not only through words but also through actions. We value people when we treat them with respect, honor, and love.
True kindness does not keep score or expect something in return. It gives freely and welcomes others warmly.
Kindness is gentle, but it is also truthful. Real kindness lovingly corrects and guides people toward what is right.

Christ comes from the word โ€œKristos.โ€

True gentleness reflects the character of Christ. Gentleness is an important part of the Christian life. ๐Ÿฉท๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป

- When we work excessively, we act as if we do not trust God. Worrying does not solve problems, it only removes our peace. It is unnecessary and has no place in the life of a child of God.
- God has already prepared for our coming into this world. He has provided everything we need. So why should we still be worried when we have God?

Matthew 6:26
- When we worry, we insult God, who has promised to supply all our needs. We are not our own provider โ€” God is.
- What can we give that is not His? Nothing. We are only returning what already belongs to Him.

Matthew 6:27
- When we try to turn away from God, we have nowhere else to go but back to Him. No one cares for us the way God does.
- Whenever we feel like we have nothing, count your blessings. Count even the walls of your house, and you will realize how blessed you are, because He has provided for you.

Why worry if you can pray? God is not far from us. Worry magnifies the problem and minimizes God.

- Godโ€™s power parted the seas, fed thousands, and calmed storms, yet we still worry. โ€œPeace, be still.โ€ There is no problem God cannot control with His awesome power.

- Give all your worries to God. Put Him first, and He will provide. Tomorrow has its own problems, and God will still provide. Everything in this world belongs to God.
- Go back to the Word of God. Worry is borrowing problems God never asked you to carry. God gives us daily bread, not weekly bread, so that we will seek His grace daily. He wants us to trust Him always.

Worry says, โ€œThere is no God.โ€
