From one Cariaga to another, the call continues.
Elder Cariaga is called to serve in the Philippines Cavite Mission, following the footsteps of his brother, who also served in the same mission before and during the pandemic.

The Cavite Mission covers a place where faith and community continue to grow, and it is also home to the Alabang Philippines Temple, serving Latter-day Saints in the area.

Now, another Cariaga will walk the same mission roads, serve the same people, and carry on a family legacy of missionary service. Astig!

With a population of more than 4.5 million, Cavite is the most populous province in the Philippines, outside Metro Manila. The province is made up of 8 cities and 15 municipalities, including 7 first-class cities and 9 first-class municipalities.

And the Philippines Cavite Mission reaches beyond the province, including the cities of Las Piñas, Biñan, San Pedro and Muntinlupa. Now, Elder Tabios of the Camiling 5th Ward, is joining the Cavite Mission!

More people means more opportunities to serve, more lives to touch, and more people to invite to come unto Christ.

Cavite is a big field, and there is much work to do.

27 Camiling missionaries are currently in the mission field, not including those who are still at the MTC and those who have just received their mission calls.

Of those 27, three are serving in Tacloban: Sister Quintos from Camiling 1st Ward, Sister Bajarin from Camiling 5th Ward, and Elder Perlas from Birbira Ward.

And now, Sister Dolorfino from Camiling 3rd Ward is on her way to join them! Fulfilling her lifelonv dream. This is exciting that they will be serving in Tacloban together.

Did you know that General Santos City was named after a Camileño?

Yes! General Santos City was named after General Paulino Santos, who is a native of Camiling, Tarlac. He was a Filipino military leader who led a group of settlers to Mindanao in the 1930s and helped develop the area that later became known as General Santos City.

And now, a Camileña is heading to General Santos, not to conquer land, but to help bring hearts closer to the Lord.

Sister Ramos of the Camiling 4th Ward is joining the Lord’s Battalion! She will be serving alongside fellow Camiling missionaries Elder Sidiamona, Elder Tabelisma, and Elder Bautista, who are already serving in the Philippines General Santos Mission. Way to go and there's a lot of work to do, sister!

Catching up in featuring our 2026 Camiling’s missionaries! From Camiling to Bicol, Northern Mindanao, Caraga, and as far as England in Europe, and Indonesia in Southeast Asia.

These Lord's servants are serving in different parts of the Philippines and even across the world, sharing the word of God and serving the people.

And this is just Batch 1 hehehe! More missionaries, more mission calls, and more stories to come. 💙 Camiling YSA's are ready to go to wherever the Lord calls.

🇵🇭✈️🇺🇸 From Camiling to Salt Lake City! Sister Marcos of the Camiling 3rd Ward has been called to serve in the Utah Salt Lake City South Mission of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints.

She will be serving in Utah, where the Church has more than two million members, 647 stakes, 5,365 congregations and 24 temples

That means Sister Marcos is not just going to Utah for the mountains, snow, and famous fry sauce. She is going there to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, serve others, and share her testimony with the people she meets.

Another missionary from home is taking the gospel a little farther. 💙Camiling is cheering you on, Sister!

Sister Buluran is off to serve in the Philippines Butuan Mission of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints.

The Butuan Mission is one of the five missions in Mindanao, covering Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur, and Dinagat Islands.

She will be spending the next 18 months sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ in Cebuano, meeting new people, learning a new language, and probably collecting a lot of stories along the way.

Camiling to Butuan. New place, new language, same gospel. ❤️
