With hearts full of gratitude and hope, the Church by the River UMC joyfully celebrated the groundbreaking ceremony for its new Pastoral House last July 6, 2026. This significant occasion marks the beginning of a meaningful project that reflects the congregation's commitment to strengthening its ministry and supporting its pastoral leadership.
The ceremony brought together church members, leaders, friends, and community partners in a spirit of thanksgiving and unity. Through prayers, Scripture readings, and words of encouragement, participants dedicated the project to God, asking for His guidance, protection, and abundant blessings throughout the construction process.
The future Pastoral House will serve as a welcoming home for the church's pastor and family, providing a place of rest, fellowship, and ministry. More than just a building, it symbolizes the congregation's shared vision of faithful stewardship, hospitality, and continued service to God and the community.
As the first ground was broken, the congregation celebrated not only the start of construction but also a renewed commitment to the mission of the church. With faith as its foundation, Church by the River UMC looks forward to the completion of this project and the many opportunities for ministry it will support in the years ahead.
May this endeavor bring glory to God and stand as a lasting testimony of His faithfulness, the generosity of His people, and the unity of the Church by the River UMC family.
