Forgiving someone who has wounded us is often one of the hardest commands to obey, yet it is a command from God. If we desire to receive His forgiveness, we must also be willing to forgive others. This becomes especially difficult when the pain runs deep or when our hearts are heavily invested in the situation.
Still, we must remember that all of us fall short. We are sinners in need of mercy. In one way or another, we too have hurt others—and even grieved God. We are not above the person who has wronged us.
Because of this, we are called to extend grace, just as grace has been extended to us. As we have freely received mercy from the Lord, we should also freely give it. Forgiveness is not easy, but it reflects the heart of Christ within us.

When God fulfills His promises in our lives, may we never forget Him.
There are moments when we finally receive the blessings we have been praying and waiting for, and in our joy, we sometimes forget the very One who made them possible. Yet every blessing comes from the Lord’s gracious hand.
Let us always remember that the blessings we enjoy are not only gifts to receive but reminders to stay close to Him. As God pours out His goodness, may our hearts grow even more thankful, humble, and devoted. Instead of drifting away after receiving His promises, may we draw nearer to Him each day, honoring the Giver more than the gift.
Remember that God gives freely, and graciously, not because of what we've done but because He is good.

We deeply love this verse, and when we read it within its context, it also invites us to see a slightly different perspective.

Matthew 18:17-20 NLT
If the person still refuses to listen, take your case to the church. Then if he or she won’t accept the church’s decision, treat that person as a pagan or a corrupt tax collector. “I tell you the truth, whatever you forbid on earth will be forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven. “I also tell you this: If two of you agree here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you. For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them.”

The context of these verses talks about the Church.

Jesus gave a powerful promise to His Church: when believers come together in unity and faith, and ask according to God’s will, He hears and answers. He said that whatever the Church binds on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever it looses on earth will be loosed in heaven. This reveals the authority and spiritual responsibility God has entrusted to His people.
The Lord also assured us of His presence—even if only two or three gather in His name, He is there among them. This shows that the power of prayer does not depend on numbers, but on sincere hearts united in Christ.
However, this promise comes with an important principle: our prayers must align with God’s will. The Lord does not grant selfish desires or evil intentions. Instead, He responds to prayers that honor Him and seek His purposes.
We must also examine our hearts. Are we truly followers of Christ? A real follower lives in obedience to His Word and desires to do His will. When the Church walks in righteousness, unity, and faithfulness to God, its prayers carry great power. This is the secret to seeing prayers answered—not merely asking, but living a life that is fully surrendered to Christ.

Jesus made it clear that those who truly believe in Him will continue His work. As His followers, we are called to proclaim the Word of God, to serve others, to heal the sick, and to be instruments through whom God’s power is revealed. In this way, we become imitators of Christ—His ambassadors—faithfully carrying out the will of the Father.
This calling cannot be fulfilled by human strength alone. It requires the power of God. That is why we pray, ask, and depend on Jesus, trusting His promise: “Whatever you ask in My name, I will do it, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” He equips us with everything we need to nurture and advance His Kingdom, and He is faithful to respond when our requests align with His purpose.
Jesus even declared that those who believe in Him would do greater works—not because we are greater, but because we walk in the fullness of what God is doing through us. There is no fixed limit when a life is fully surrendered. To walk in this authority, we must live like Jesus, speak like Jesus, and allow our thoughts, character, and ways to be shaped by Him. We are to set our minds on heavenly things, remain obedient to the Father’s will, and live filled with the Holy Spirit.
When our lives are aligned with God, our prayers reflect His heart. And in that alignment, when we ask, He answers—because everything we seek is ultimately for His glory.

Jesus teaches that the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven are those who turn away from sin and become like little children—humble, dependent, and sincere before God.
The Lord calls us to repentance that leads us back to Him. Repentance is more than simply asking for forgiveness; it requires a change of direction—a turning away from the sins that keep us from fully knowing and experiencing God. It is a deliberate choice to leave behind what separates us from His presence.
Like a child, we are also called to humble ourselves before the Lord. This means laying down pride, arrogance, and self-reliance, and fully surrendering our lives to Him. With a teachable heart and complete dependence on God, we come before Him not trusting in our own righteousness, but in His grace.
These are the believers whom the Lord calls great—those who repent, humble themselves, and wholeheartedly surrender their lives to Him.

What sets a Christian apart is not status or strength, but the presence of the Lord. Where God dwells, His blessing follows. A believer lives in daily dependence on Him, walking a life set apart—guarded by His protection and sustained by His faithful provision.

In this generation, success is often measured by wealth, status, and what people display on social media. Many devote their lives to gaining these things, believing they are treasures that will bring happiness and define their worth. Yet Scripture asks, “What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?” (Matthew 16:26; Mark 8:36).
In the pursuit of worldly success, people lose their lives—spending their time, strength, and even their health just to impress others. But the Word of God reminds us that “Vanity of vanities… all is vanity” (Ecclesiastes 1:2). Praise is temporary, achievements fade, and sooner or later someone else will take our place.
Jesus warned us not to store up treasures on earth, where everything passes away, but to store up treasures in heaven, which last forever (Matthew 6:19–21). Only what is done for God has eternal value; everything else will eventually fade away.
