🙏 𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 — 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗽𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗱 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆

Today, we are reminded that 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗽𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗱—guiding, protecting, and calling each of us by name to follow Him.

📖 In biblical times, shepherds often knew each sheep personally and used distinct calls—sheep would recognize and follow only their shepherd’s voice, reflecting our personal relationship with Christ.

May we listen closely to His voice and trust in His loving guidance each day. 💛

In today’s Gospel, the risen Christ walks beside His disciples—unrecognized at first, yet revealing Himself in the breaking of the bread.

📖 Trivia: The village of Emmaus was about 7 miles from Jerusalem, and it was during a simple meal that the disciples finally recognized Jesus—highlighting the Eucharist as a moment of encounter with Him.

May we recognize His presence in our daily journey and in every breaking of the bread. 💛

Today, we celebrate the boundless mercy of Christ—His love flowing endlessly to forgive, heal, and renew all who trust in Him.

📖 Did you know: The rays of red and white from Jesus’ heart in the Divine Mercy image symbolize blood and water—representing the Eucharist and Baptism, signs of His saving grace for humanity.

May we place our trust in His mercy and become instruments of compassion to others. 🤍

In today’s sacred celebration, Jesus humbly washes the feet of His disciples—teaching that true love is shown through service, even in the smallest acts.

3. Shrine of Our Lady of Mercy
4. Mary, the Queen Parish
5. St. Peter Parish
6. Kristong Hari Parish
7. Cathedral of the Good Shepherd

Today we remember Judas’ betrayal of Jesus for 30 pieces of silver—a moment that calls us to reflect on our own choices and faithfulness.

💡 Trivia: The 30 silver coins was the price of a slave in ancient times, showing how Jesus was undervalued despite His true worth.

✨ Trivia: In Jewish tradition, the Passover meal (which inspired the Last Supper setting) includes unleavened bread—symbolizing haste and freedom from Egypt—adding deeper meaning to the bread shared by Jesus and His disciples.
