CHRISTMAS SEASON COMES TO A CLOSE

Today, the Church celebrates the final day of the Christmas season, bringing to a close the joyous liturgical period that began with the birth of Christ. The readings and prayers invite us to carry the light, peace, and hope of Christmas into the ordinary days ahead. As the Church transitions from the wonder of the Nativity to the mission of Christ in the world, we are reminded that the joy of Christmas is not only for a season but a call to live Christ’s love every day.

We begin the new year not with noise, but with prayer.

Today, the Church celebrates the Solemnity of Mary, the Mother of God. May her maternal care guide us, protect us, and lead us closer to her Son throughout the year.

On the first day of the year, the Church places us in the arms of a Mother. As we honor Mary, the Mother of God, we entrust our lives, our families, and our hopes for this new year to her loving intercession.

The new year opens with a blessing—a Mother who watches over us. Today we celebrate the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God. May she teach us to trust, to listen, and to walk faithfully with Christ.

As we welcome a new year, we turn to Mary, the Mother of God. In her quiet faith and gentle yes, may we find peace, guidance, and hope for the days ahead.

As the clock draws closer to midnight, we are invited to gather in silence, faith, and hope for the most sacred night of the year.

At 11:00 PM, we come together to celebrate the Christmas Eve Mass, a holy moment of waiting for the birth of our Savior. In the quiet of the night, Christ enters the world not with noise or splendor, but with humble love that transforms hearts.

This Mass is more than a tradition; it is a reminder of God’s nearness, of light breaking through darkness, and of peace offered to a weary world. As we approach the altar, may we lay down our worries, open our hearts, and allow the joy of Christmas to renew our faith.

Let us come with reverence and gratitude, dressed appropriately and prepared in spirit, to welcome Emmanuel—God with us. May this sacred night draw us closer to one another and to the true meaning of Christmas, as we await the joyful proclamation of Christ’s birth. 🌟🎄

On this 4th Sunday of Advent, we stand at the threshold of Christmas, reminded that God’s promise is near its fulfillment.

As we light the final candle, we are invited to open our hearts in love, humility, and trust—just as Mary did when she said “Yes” to God’s will.

May this sacred time of waiting teach us to recognize Christ not only in the manger, but in our daily lives—through acts of kindness, faith, and selfless love.

As we prepare to welcome Emmanuel, may our hearts be made ready to receive Him with joy and gratitude.

Blessed 4th Sunday of Advent 🤍🕯️✨
