But he said, “I must proclaim the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns also, because that is why I was sent.” And he kept on preaching in the synagogues of Judea.
— Luke 4:43-44

Today's message reminded us that, just like Jesus, we must intentionally spend time in the presence of God, place our complete trust in Him, and exercise with faith the authority He has given us through prayer and the declaration of His Word.

Anchored in Luke 4:43–44, we were reminded that this authority is not for personal gain, but to proclaim the Kingdom of God, serve others with love and compassion, and become living testimonies of God's power and reign.

As followers of Christ, may we walk in His authority with humility, boldness, and unwavering faith—bringing hope, healing, and the message of His Kingdom wherever He sends us.

“Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road.

This Word reminded us that faith must remains steadfast, even in the face of obstacles.

Like Bartimaeus, we will encounter voices that tell us to stop, doubts that try to silence us, and circumstances that challenge our trust in God. Yet true faith refuses to give up. It keeps calling on Jesus, believing that He still hears, still responds, and still changes lives.

When Jesus asked, "What do you want Me to do for you?" Bartimaeus answered with confidence and expectation. His unwavering faith opened the way for his miracle, and after receiving his sight, he didn't just celebrate the blessing—he chose to follow Jesus.
