"There was a certain rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen and fared sumptuously every day. [20] But there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, full of sores, who was laid at his gate, [21] desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table. Moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. [22] So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham's bosom. The rich man also died and was buried. [23] And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. [24] "Then he cried and said, 'Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.' [25] But Abraham said, 'Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and you are tormented. [26] And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot, nor can those from there pass to us.' [27] "Then he said, 'I beg you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father's house, [28] for I have five brothers, that he may testify to them, lest they also come to this place of torment.' [29] Abraham said to him, 'They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.' [30] And he said, 'No, father Abraham; but if one goes to them from the dead, they will repent.' [31] But he said to him, 'If they do not hear Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded though one rise from the dead.'"

Mula una, nung namulat ang aking mga mata,
Sa mundong punong puno ng kaba,
Ikaw ang nagbigay sigla at sa akin ay umaruga,
Tinuruan kung paano sumulat at bumasa.

Pinilit itaguyod kahit buhay ay maralita,
Isang kahid isang tuka, buhay natin sa tuwina,
Araw-araw ikaw ay naglalaba,
Nagpakahirap sa pagkuskos at pagpiga,

Upang pagsapit ng umaga,
may mailatag sa lamesa,
At ang kumakalam na sikmura,
ay bahagyang tumila.

Kaya salamat ina,
sa lahat ng iyong sakripisyo at mga gawa.
Kasi simula pa nung una,
andiyan ka at di kami inabandona.

Sa panahong kami ay binata na,
Naging sakit sa ulo, sakit sa bulsa,
At sakit sa bunganga,
pero ang pagbunganga nyo pala,
Ay paraan para maipadama na kami'y mahalaga.

At sa iyong mga salita,
Kami'y unti-unting tinatama.
Kaya Salamat aking ina,
Dahil dika nagsawa na nagpa-alala,
Upang landas namin ay hindi mapariwara.

At kahit ngayon kami ay may asawa na,
Anjan ka na gumagabay at nagpa-paalala,
Kung paano lumakad ng tama,
sa buhay may asawa.

Minsan kahit walang wala ka na,
Binibigay mo parin ang inyong pera,
Para matugunan,
ang pangangailangan ng aking pamilya.

Maging mga apo mo pa,
ay pasimpleng inaabutan, ng papel at barya.
Upang maipadama,
na maging sila din, sayo ay mahalaga.

Wagas at labis ang pag ibig mo aking Ina.
Mapalad ako dahil binigyan ni bathala.
Ng regalong walang hihigit pa.
Yun ay walang iba, Kundi ikaw oh aking Ina.

Ang mga Salita ay kulang para pasalamatan ka,
Aking Ina di ko man palaging nasasalita,
Pagmamahal ko sayoy laging ipadadama,
Dahil buhay mo, sa amin ay mahalaga,

Kaya panalangin ko sa Diyos na lumikha.
Malakas na Resistensya,
katawang punong-puno ng saya at sigla,
At buhay na mahaba.
Upang mga apo mo, ay makita pang magsi-asawa.

Sa iyong pagtanda, huwag mag-alala,
Gagawin lahat ng aming makakaya,
Para alagaan at mahalin ka,
Hanggang sa dulo ng aming hininga,

Ipapa-kita at ipapa-dama ang mga salitang,
"MAHAL KITA OH AKING INA".
Kaya sa simpleng tula na aking ginawa,
Nais kung ipabatid ang mga katagang

[24] Sa ating pagsunod sa Dios ay para tayong mananakbo. Alam ninyo na sa isang takbuhan, marami ang sumasali ngunit isa lang ang nananalo. Kaya pagbutihin ninyo ang pagtakbo upang makamit ninyo ang gantimpala.

[25] Ang bawat manlalaro ay nagsasanay nang mabuti at dinidisiplina ang sarili upang makamit ang gantimpala. Ginagawa niya ito para sa gantimpalang hindi nagtatagal. Ngunit ang gantimpalang hinahangad natin ay magtatagal magpakailanman.
