With deep sorrow, yet with unwavering faith in God's goodness and promises, we announce that my beloved wife, Ana Liza Bermudez, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on May 29, 2026.
In her final hours, we were blessed with a precious gift from Godโthe opportunity to be with her as a family. We worshiped together, sang songs of praise, shared stories, and even laughed together. Amidst the tears, there was peace. Amidst the pain, there was love. And amidst the uncertainty, there was the unmistakable presence of God.
For some time, Ana had been saying that she wanted to "go home." Today, while our hearts grieve her absence, we find comfort in knowing that her desire has finally been fulfilled. She is now homeโnot merely from this earthly life, but in the eternal presence of her Savior, whom she loved and trusted.
Though we will deeply miss her voice, her smile, her strength, and the love she so freely gave, we rejoice in the assurance that she is no longer suffering. She is now at rest, whole and complete, embraced by the Lord she faithfully followed.
As a family, we thank everyone who prayed with us, stood with us, and loved her throughout her journey. We humbly ask for your continued prayers as we navigate this season of loss while holding on to the hope we have in Christ.
Today, we do not say goodbye forever. We simply say:
"Mommy A, thank you for your love, your sacrifices, your faith, and your life. You have finished your race. You are finally home. Until we meet again in the presence of our Lord."
"For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain." โ Philippians 1:21
