Aba Po Santa Mariang Hari,Inang ng Awa.
Ikaw ang kabuhayan at katamisan;
Aba pinananaligan ka namin.
Ikaw nga ang tinatawag naming,
pinapanaw na taong anak ni Eva.
Ikaw rin ang pinagbubuntong
hininga namin ng aming pagtangis
dini sa lupang bayang kahapis-hapis.

Pantas ng Simbahan, haligi ng Santa Iglesia, tagapagtanggol ng pananampalatayang
Kristiyano at kalasag laban sa mga kaaway.
Hayaan mong matularan ko ang
yong halimbawa ng pagbabalik-loob
sa Diyos upang ako rin ay makatamasa
ng matuwid na landas tungo sa
kaginhawahang walang katapusan
upang ang puso ko ay pamahayan

"𝗙𝗨𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗔 𝗕𝗜𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗔!": 𝗦𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗘𝗟 𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗠𝗡𝗘𝗬 𝗪𝗛𝗜𝗧𝗘 𝗦𝗠𝗢𝗞𝗘 𝗪𝗔𝗧𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗗𝗨𝗟𝗘

When a new pope is elected, there are two signs that mark that historic moment: the white smoke (“fumata bianca” in Italian) erupting from the chimney of the Sistine Chapel and the formula “habemus papam” pronounced by the cardinal protodeacon from the balcony of St. Peter’s Basilica overlooking the square of the same name.

Let us witness the new chapter for the Catholic Church for the election of the 267th Supreme Pontiff of the Roman Catholic Church. Together as one community of the people of God around the world, let us join in prayer and anticipation for the new Pope, as the Papal Conclave begins.

Dakilang Patriarkang San Jose, ulirang ama ng tahanan, amang turing ni Jesus at kalinis-linisang kabiyak ng puso ng Birheng Maria,kami po ay dumudulog sa inyong makaamang pagmamahal at tanging pag-aampon.

Mahal naming San Jose, itinataas po namin sa Diyos Ama ang aming mga pangangailangan sa buhay at mga hangarin sa buhay esprituwal, na sa iyong tulong ay makamit ang pagpapala ayon sa kalooban ng Panginoon

Pagindapatin mo po, na ihatid sa Diyos Amang bukal ng awa ang aming taos pusong panalangin na may lubos na pasasalamat sa lahat ng mga biyayang kaloob.

San Jose, nabuhay po kayo sa piling ni Jesus. Sa lagi kong naaalala, na habang Siya ay dinuduyan sa iyong mga bisig at nakahimlay sa iyong dibdib, yakapin mo Siya at gawaran mo ng halik sa noo para sa akin, sa gayong po ang halik na yaon ay madama ko ngayon at sa oras ng aking kamatayan.

WHAT IS LENT: We now enter into the Season of Lent and the common questions of Catholics are how or when do we fast and abstain? Here are some graphics that will help you understand Fasting and Abstinence based on the Code of Canon Law.

The divine law binds all the Christian faithful to do penance each in his or her way. For all to be united among themselves by some common observance of penance, however, penitential days are prescribed on which the Christian faithful especially devote themselves to prayer, perform works of piety and charity, and deny themselves by fulfilling their obligations more faithfully and especially by observing fast and abstinence, according to the norm of the following canons.

The penitential days and times in the universal Church are every Friday of the whole year and the season of Lent.

Abstinence from eating meat or some other food according to the prescripts of the Conference of bishops is to be observed on, of abstinence binds those who have completed their fourteenth year of age. The law of fasting, however, binds all those who have attained their majority until the beginning of their sixtieth year. Nevertheless, pastors of souls and parents are to take care that minors not bound by the law of fasting and abstinence are also educated in a genuine sense of penance.

The conference of bishops can determine more precisely the observance of fast and abstinence as well as substitute other forms of penance, especially works of charity and exercises of piety, in whole or in part, for abstinence and fast. (Days of Penance, Code of Canon Law no. 1249-1253)
