Heaven has truly gained an angel—one who will always be remembered, deeply missed, and lovingly cherished.

With heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of our dear sister, a former member of CYA and a devoted acolyte of San Lorenzo Ruiz Chapel.

She was more than just a member, she was a kind soul, a faithful servant, and a friend to many. Her presence, her service, and her gentle heart will always be remembered in our community.

Though time may have passed since we last served together, the impact she left in CYA-Acolytes and in the church will never be forgotten.

We offer our prayers for her eternal rest, and for the comfort and strength of her family, especially her child.

As we celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, may we continue to live out His values and moral teachings in our daily lives. May this sacred event also remind us to remain united as we face the social injustices present in our world today.

As we continue to journey through these challenging times, we offer our prayers for peace throughout the world—an end to wars, corruption, unjust persecution, violence,social injustices and all acts that go against God.

The Koro Tadeo presents a simple rendition of “Kapayapaan” by Fr. Arnel Aquino, SJ. May this song remind us to unite our hearts in prayer and reflection, working together to stop violence in our communities, in our country, and throughout the world.

As we celebrate the glorious Resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ, during the culmination of the Easter Triduum through the Easter Vigil, the Saint Jude Thaddeus Parish Youth Apostolate (SJTPYA) offered their service to the community.

The SJTP youth members sold candles used for the Renewal of Baptism, symbolizing the renewal of the light of Christ in our lives. Together with former SJTPYA members, as part of the Koro Tadeo, they also served as the choir, leading the faithful parishioners in prayer and worship during this solemn celebration.

For the Easter Vigil Celebration, everyone is encouraged to arrive at Saint Jude Thaddeus Parish on or before 6:00 PM. We also invite everyone to bring candles and wear a white shirt or dress as we take part in the renewal of our Baptismal promises.

𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 2026 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞

In this upcoming 𝑯𝒐𝒍𝒚 𝑾𝒆𝒆𝒌 2026 (𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒄𝒉 29–𝑨𝒑𝒓𝒊𝒍 5, 2026), we are encouraged to pause, reflect, and remember the sacrifice that our Lord Jesus Christ made for us. Through this, we prepare our minds and hearts for His glorious Resurrection.

During this special season, Saint Jude Thaddeus Parish has prepared an infographic showing the schedule of activities.

We urge the community to join us in prayer, renew our faith, and deepen our love for the Lord our God.

As we approach the much-anticipated culmination of the Paschal Triduum, the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, Easter Sunday, we enter into the solemn observance of the Easter Vigil-one of the sacred moment in the Catholic Tradition where we continue to repent, pray, and reflect while we await the resurrection of Jesus after He was crucified on the cross.

To help make this celebration more meaningful and as we renew our Baptism tonight, the SJTPYA prepared candles for sale, which are available in front of the SJT Parish.

As we continue the activities of the second day of the Paschal Triduum—Good Friday—we invite the community to join us in reflecting on the Seven Last Words of our Lord Jesus Christ at 12:00 noon. This will be followed by the Liturgy of the Word and Veneration of the Cross at 3:00 PM, and the Procession of the Santo Entierro afterwards.

May we continue to commemorate the Passion of Jesus Christ by
faithfully participating in these sacred observances. 🙏✝️

The same voices that praised Him would soon cry ‘Crucify Him.’ Yet Jesus chose love. He chose the cross. He chose us. As we enter this Holy Week, may we not turn away from His suffering, but walk with Him through it—understanding that His pain was the price of our salvation.
