Mary’s words in Luke 1:38 “Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word” are the very soul of Flores de Mayo. Her obedient “yes” reversed the disobedience of Eve, opening the way to salvation through Christ.

Our flower offerings are symbols of love, humility, and our desire to follow her example. As Marialis Cultus reminds us: devotion to Mary always leads us closer to Jesus. May we echo her Fiat in our lives trusting, surrendered, and faithful to God’s will.

I invite you all to join the BCE DAY and Birthday Celebration of our Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. LITO PAUNILLAN, tomorrow at San Fernando Rey Parish Church.

We’ll start with a Thanksgiving Mass at 7:30 AM, followed by a Parade by Zone, and then contests and games including Volleyball, Zumba Contest, and Singing Contest.
