You cannot hold onto what God never gave you and still expect to fully walk in what He has prepared for you.

Sometimes the delay we feel isn’t God withholding blessings, it’s us refusing to release what He already asked us to surrender. We entertain distractions, unhealthy attachments, wrong mindsets, and disobedience while praying for clarity, peace, and breakthrough.

But God does not build His promises on compromised obedience.

Every moment spent nurturing what isn’t from Him quietly postpones what is. Not because God is cruel, but because His will requires space—space created by trust, surrender, and alignment.

Conviction is not rejection. It is mercy.
God corrects because He loves too deeply to leave us stuck in things that slowly pull us away from Him.

If the Holy Spirit keeps nudging your heart, it’s not to shame you—it’s to free you.
Close the door. End the cycle. Release the thing He has been speaking to you about.

Obedience may feel costly in the moment, but disobedience always costs more in the end.

What God has for you is not lost.
But sometimes it waits on the other side of surrender. 🤍🙏🏻
