𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐓 𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐂𝐊

𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙝𝙞𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙩𝙧𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙝𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙂𝙤𝙙? 𝘼𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙬𝙖𝙡𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙘𝙡𝙤𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙮 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙂𝙤𝙙 𝙬𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙚 𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙚𝙩𝙡𝙮 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙨𝙞𝙣?

One of the enemy's cruelest and most devious works is to keep us divided. That is to look free on the outside while secretly protecting the very chains Christ came to break in the inside.

Lust. Bitterness. Pride. Deceit. Addiction. Impurity. Hidden compromise…and many others.

Whatever form it takes – sin cannot remain hidden forever. The Scripture warns us, “If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie.” (1 John 1:6).

Nevertheless, God does not expose what is hidden to shame us. He brings it into the light so that it can be confessed, forsaken, and overcome by His grace.

Remember this: you do not fight sin to earn freedom. You fight it based on the reality of the freedom Christ has already purchased. “Our old man was crucified with Him” (Romans 6:6), and “sin shall not be master over you” (Romans 6:14).

So today, examine your heart.

What are you still protecting that God is asking you to surrender?

What temptation are you feeding while praying for freedom from it?

What secret habit have you learned to call “just part of me” even though God calls you to holiness?

Sometimes walking in freedom means confessing what you have hidden, asking someone for help, fleeing what tempts you, cutting off what keeps feeding the sin, and returning again to surrender through prayer and submission to the enabling power of the Word.

Do not accept secret bo***ge as though it is just a normal part of your Christian life.

Do not make peace with what Christ died to destroy.

And when you stumble, do not run deeper into hiding. Come back into the light.

The blood of Jesus cleanses.

The Spirit gives strength.

Perhaps we can apply James 5:12 to this extent? “but your yes is to be yes, and your no, no...”

Because the true Grace of God and along with true understanding of it teaches us to say no to ungodliness and yes to holiness.

𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐲 𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐬𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐬 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥.

May we never become so comfortable in the darkness that we forget how beautiful it is to walk in the light.

𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐓 𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐂𝐊

𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙣𝙤 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙣𝙤𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚? 𝘿𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙟𝙤𝙮, 𝙤𝙧 𝙙𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙜𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣?

Jesus reminds us that true greatness is not measured by status but by service. Like a branch heavy with fruit that naturally bends low, we too must reflect the same.

Remember: a life bearing the fruit of the Spirit is marked by humility, not self-exaltation.

Christ Himself, though Lord of all, "did not come to be served, but to serve" (Mark 10:45). Paul himself calls us to the same mindset to "regard one another as more important than yourselves" (Philippians 2:3–4).

Today, examine your heart. Are you seeking a platform or a towel? Are you more concerned with being seen, or with serving faithfully even when no one is watching?

In God's kingdom, the greatest are not those who elevate themselves, but those who gladly humble themselves for the good of others (John 13:12–17). 𝐀 𝐟𝐫𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐡 𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐧𝐝.

May the same be true of us.
