And about naman po han ginyakan ni Pastor Rennie, an akon la po nanunumduman, kon ano man po it aton kabusy ngan kadamo hit trabahuon, let's give time to Jesus. Kahit ilang oras lang pagbabasa ng bible kasi kahit sugad la po hiton nalilipay ngan nakikita hit aton Ginoo nga gintatagan ta Hiya hin importance, also po kon ano man umabot nga problem haat kinabuhi ayaw kita hingalimot nga aada an aton Ginoo nga permi haaton nagmamahal hin waray katapusan."
- Angel Shane Abellar, Bachelor of Elementary Education - 2nd Year, ESSU-Guiuan
"My experience and reflection during IV Day I can say that it was really an unforgettable experience. I really had fun and I also met new friends. And from the message from Pastor Rennie, I learned that sometimes we may feel inadequate or scared to step into our calling, but God doesn't give us a spirit of fear, He gives us a spirit of strength, love, and a sound mind. It's comforting to know that we don't have to face life's challenges alone or with trembling hearts. Instead, we are empowered by God's Spirit to live boldly, fueled by love and confidence rooted in His grace. And overall, I really enjoyed and hope I can join more activities like this again."
- Reygine Cabsag, BS Information Technology - 3rd Year, ESSU-Guiuan
"This verse reminds me na may mga gifts na ibinigay si God sa akin tulad ng pag papagamit kay lord sa worship team, and I should use them with confidence. Hindi galing kay God ang fear instead, He gives me power, love, and a sound mind. Kaya I am encouraged to face challenges without fear and trust that God will guide me as I use the gifts He placed in my life. Mayron man point na nanghihina ako but i thank God na nandyan parin sya sakin at hindi niya ako pinababayaan."
- Vince Anthony Maderazo, BS Information Technology - 3rd Year, ESSU-Salcedo
"โค๏ธA Day of Fellowship and Calling
The IVCF anniversary was more than just a gathering it was a reminder of Godโs faithfulness in bringing together young people to celebrate Him. Meeting different people and making new friends gave me joy, but what touched me most was the message shared by Pastor Rennie Gesite from 2 Timothy 1:7: โFor God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.โ
๐ถ๐ซถWorship Beyond Perfection
One line struck deep in my heart: โHindi ka dapat maging perpekto bago ka pumasok kay Jesus.โ As a worship leader, I often feel the weight of responsibility, but this truth reminded me that God calls us not because we are perfect, but because He is perfect. Many Christian youth carry the same burden, yet IV Day became a space where we could lay down those fears and embrace the joy of serving Him.
๐Tired but Fulfilled
Even though I was sleepy and exhausted from academic work, attending was worth every moment. The songs, the prayers, and especially the prayer led by Pastor Gesite moved me to tears. It was a release of gratitude, a renewal of strength, and a confirmation of my calling.
๐ทGratitude and Joy
IV Day gave me joy that overflowed beyond the event itself. It reminded me that fellowship is not just about being present itโs about being transformed. I am thankful for the experience, for the friendships formed, and for the reminder that Godโs calling is alive in me and in the hearts of many youth."
- Aizy Nebrida, Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education - 4th Year, ESSU-Maydolong
"My experience at church was truly a blessing. I learned a lot from the pastorโs message, and I also enjoyed listening to others who shared about God. It was fun because we even played a short game, which made me feel very happy. Iโm so thankful to God that my friend invited me to attend it was my first time at that church, and I feel so blessed."
- Nikko John Guarino, Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education - 3rd Year, ESSU-Maydolong
"On November 29, 2025, I attended the IV Day Celebration, which also marked the 7th anniversary of IVCF. The theme for this year, PAGLURAB, really stood out to me. At first, I thought it was just a simple theme, but throughout the program, I realized how powerful and personal it actually was.
Paglurab reminded me of the fire inside each of usโthe passion, faith, and purpose that God placed in our hearts. During the fellowship, the worship, and the messages shared, I felt that fire being rekindled. It made me think about the times when my faith felt weak or when I became too tired or too busy to notice Godโs work in my life. But yesterday, I felt like God was telling me to keep that fire burning, no matter what season Iโm in.
Being surrounded by people who shared the same faith also made the experience even more uplifting. The atmosphere felt warm and encouraging, like everyone was carrying their own light but willing to share it with others. It reminded me that Iโm not alone in my journey.
Attending the IV Day made me reflect on my spiritual growth and the areas where I need to reignite my passion. It was a meaningful reminder to stay connected to God, stay faithful, and keep the fire burningโnot just for myself, but so I can be a light to others as well. Truly, the celebration of IVCFโs 7th anniversary was a blessing and a moment Iโm grateful to be part of."
- Jiemalyn Gregorio, Bachelor of Elementary Education - 4th Year, ESSU-Main
"IVDAY was truly a blessing for me. I felt grateful and joyful throughout the event I got to see my friends, share my testimony, and learn new things that strengthened my faith. I also enjoyed the games, the food, and the fun moments we all shared together. Overall, it was a simple but meaningful reminder of Godโs goodness."
- Dunamis Bajado, Grade 12 - HUMSS, ESNCHS
"An akon po reflection is mas na-gets ko po na it pagiging timid or mahiyain is dire upod han spirit nga gin-hatag ni God haat, kundi an spirit na gin-hatag haat ni God is an spirit han kapangyarihan, pag-ibig, ngan pagpipigil ha sarili.
An akon naman po experiences is maupay po. Daro-damo po an ak nakilala na mga tawo, ngan nakaistorya, and one of them po is nag hatag po hin advice on how to serve God nga dire na b-burn out, although dire gad ngani po talaga it maiwasan, and thankful po ak ha ira mga life. I pray po na tanan po nga nag-attend han IV day is na blessed po."
โ Loleen Rosanto, Grade 11 - Caregiving, ESNCHS
"There are moments in life when God uses simple experiences to touch our hearts in a deep and meaningful way. One of those moments happened to me during IV Day.
I was truly blessed during IV Day because I met many new people and enjoyed the food. But the most important part was being honest with myself as I let go of my problems, surrendered them to the Lord, and committed to continue worshiping Him. This experience reminded me that God is always present, ready to lift my burdens and guide my heart. As I move forward, I choose to trust Him more and continue walking in faith, knowing He is always with me."
- Patrish Ann Galla, Grade 9, ESNCHS
