Sunday Sermon ❗️ 08.23.26
Sermon: God's Breakthrough
Scripture: Isaiah 43: 19
Speaker: Rev. Danny F. Fabito

Quote:
“Kapag ang Diyos ang kumilos, ang imposible ay nagiging posible.”

Summary:

God’s Breakthrough 🙏✨

“Kapag ang Diyos ang kumilos, walang imposible.”
— Isaiah 43:19

Ang breakthrough ay hindi aksidente. Dumarating ito habang tayo ay nagtitiwala, nananalangin, sumusunod, at patuloy na nagpupuri sa Diyos.

💙 Believe His Promise — Magtiwala sa Kanyang Salita, timing, at kapangyarihan.
🙏 Bow in Prayer — Manalangin nang may pagpapakumbaba, pagtitiyaga, at pananampalataya.
🙌 Be Obedient — Sumunod nang buo, agad, at may kagalakan.
🎶 Bless God with Praise — Purihin ang Diyos bago pa man dumating ang breakthrough, habang nasa laban, at pagkatapos ng tagumpay.

Maaaring hindi natin alam kung kailan darating ang breakthrough, ngunit makatitiyak tayo na gumagawa ang Diyos at kumikilos Siya sa tamang panahon. Huwag sumuko. Magpatuloy sa pananampalataya, panalangin, pagsunod, at pagpupuri.

Kung ang Diyos ang kumilos, walang hadlang, walang pader, at walang imposibleng bagay na hindi Niya kayang lampasan. 🙏

Amen 🙏
Thank you Pastor 😇

📖Self-Control: Bibig👅— Controlling the Tongue

Our Bible Study at Treasure Island Foursquare Gospel Church, led by Pastor Mark Anthony Reginan, concluded the topic of Self-Control: “Bibig” (the tongue/mouth) with an important reminder: our words have power. Proverbs 18:21 teaches that the tongue has the power of life and death, so what we say can either encourage, heal, and build others up—or hurt, discourage, and destroy.

From James 3:3–12, we learned that the tongue is difficult to control. Although people can tame many kinds of animals, the tongue can be restless and dangerous when it is not surrendered to God. James also points out the inconsistency of using the same mouth to praise God and to curse people who are made in God's image.

The study highlighted several major sins of the mouth, including:

- Boasting — taking pride in ourselves or our plans without recognizing God's will and sovereignty.
- Cursing and profanity — using words to hurt others, express hatred, or misuse God's holy name.
- Complaining and grumbling — expressing discontent and bitterness instead of gratitude and trust in God.
- Corrupt or filthy speech — using vulgar, abusive, or unhealthy words instead of speech that builds others up.

At the same time, the Bible teaches us that our tongues can be used for good. We can use our mouths to praise God, pray, sing to the Lord, and witness about His goodness. Our words should encourage others, strengthen those who are struggling, and reflect the love and character of Christ.

Ultimately, controlling the tongue is not simply about trying harder to remain silent or choosing better words. True self-control comes through surrender to the Holy Spirit. As Romans 6:13 reminds us, we are to offer the parts of our bodies to God as instruments of righteousness—including our tongues.

As we close this study, may we make the resolution found in Psalm 39:1: to watch our ways and keep our tongues from sin. May Psalm 19:14 also become our prayer: “May the words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord.”

Let us remember: Before we speak, we should ask whether our words are true, helpful, loving, and pleasing to God.

See You Next Week! 🙏

This concludes our study on Self-Control: Bibig. Thank you, Pastor Mark Anthony Reginan, for leading us through this meaningful study and reminding us of the importance of surrendering even our words to God.

Join us again next week for another Bible Study topic!

🙏The Fuel of Faith: How God’s Word Sparks and Strengthens Belief🙏

Prayer Meeting Message
Romans 10:17

The message centered on Romans 10:17: “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.” The central reminder was that faith is not merely something we are born with; rather, it is strengthened and nurtured through continually hearing and receiving God’s Word.

Faith comes from hearing the message of Christ. We need to approach God’s Word with an open heart and an attentive ear, allowing His truth to shape and strengthen our faith.

Faith also grows through continual hearing. Just as a physical muscle becomes stronger through regular exercise, our faith becomes stronger through the daily intake of God’s Word. Consistently hearing Scripture helps us overcome doubt and deepen our trust in God.

The supporting passages—Romans 10:14, Luke 11:28, and Proverbs 4:20–22—emphasize the importance of hearing, receiving, obeying, and continually keeping God’s Word in our hearts.

The key lesson is simple:
Every structure needs a foundation, and every fire needs fuel. Our faith likewise needs the foundation and continual fuel of God’s Word. When our faith begins to weaken, we should return to the source: draw near to Scripture, listen with an open heart, and allow God to rebuild our confidence day by day.

Let us continue to feed our faith through God’s Word and allow Him to strengthen our trust in Him.

Prayer Meeting Invitation:

We look forward to seeing you next Tuesday at 6:00 PM for our Prayer Meeting at Treasure Island Foursquare Gospel Church. Let us come together in faith, prayer, and fellowship as we seek God and allow His Word to strengthen us.

Fellowship Beyond the Court 🏀❤️

What a memorable time of fellowship for the UFM of Treasure Island Foursquare Gospel Church! 🙌

Through a fun-filled game of basketball, we had the opportunity to invite and fellowship with men and youths from different Foursquare churches in Boracay.

More than just a game, it was a beautiful time of unity, friendship, laughter, and Christian brotherhood. What made it even more special was seeing everyone participate not only the men and youths, but also their wives, children, and even the parents of the youths. ❤️

Truly, fellowship becomes more meaningful when everyone feels welcome, everyone gets involved, and everyone shares the joy.

🏀 One game.
🤝 Different churches.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 One family in Christ.
❤️ One unforgettable fellowship.

To God be all the glory! 🙏✨

Mission Sunday Sermon ❗️ 08.16.26
Sermon: Made For Mission
Scripture: Acts 20: 24
Speaker: Rev. Mark Anthony D. Reginan

Quote:
“The greatest legacy we can leave is not what we build, but the souls we lead to Jesus.”

📍Made for Mission | Acts 20:24

What are we living for—and what will we leave behind?

📖Acts 20:24 reminds us that our lives are not meant to be centered on ourselves, but on faithfully fulfilling the mission God has entrusted to us: to testify to the Good News of God’s grace and kindness.

The message highlighted three important focuses for a life on mission:

🔹 Purpose-Focused — We are called to value Christ above everything else and live for His purposes.

🔹 Finish Line-Focused — Like Paul, we are called to finish the race and faithfully carry out the mission we have received from the Lord Jesus.

🔹 Legacy-Focused — Our greatest legacy is not what we accumulate or build, but the lives we influence for Christ—the souls we lead to Jesus.

Mission is both personal and global: bringing people to Jesus where we are and being willing to go wherever God sends us.

«“The greatest legacy we can leave is not what we build, but the souls we lead to Jesus.”»

May we live with purpose, run faithfully to the finish, and leave a legacy that points people to Jesus. 🙏

Made for Mission. Called to Finish. Living for a Legacy that Lasts.

📖Bible Study Series: Self-Control — Bibig

Tonight’s Bible Study, led by Pastor Mark, focused on self-control of the tongue and the importance of being mindful of the words we speak.

Through Proverbs 18:21, we were reminded that “The tongue has the power of life and death.” Our words have the power to encourage, heal, and give hope, but they can also hurt, discourage, and destroy.

We were also reminded through Psalm 39:1, Proverbs 10:19, James 1:19–20, and James 1:26 that wisdom is demonstrated by knowing when to speak and when to remain silent. Controlling our tongue requires patience, discipline, and a heart that is surrendered to God.

The study also highlighted some of the major sins of the mouth, including lying, gossip, talebearing, slander, and backbiting. These remind us to carefully guard our words and use our speech to build others up rather than tear them down.

As we continue this Bible Study Series, may we learn not only to control what comes out of our mouths, but also to allow God to transform our hearts—the source of our words.

The series continues next Thursday. Don’t miss it! Let us continue learning and growing together in the Word of God. 🙏📖
