Known for his learning and deep devotion, he encouraged Christians to remain faithful to Christ and recorded the heroic witness of the Martyrs of Córdoba. His courage and steadfast faith continue to inspire us to stand firm in truth and trust in God even in times of trial.

Let us pray: O God, who strengthened Saint Eulogius to defend the faith and remain faithful even unto death, grant that through his intercession we may have the courage to proclaim Your truth and remain steadfast in our love for Christ and His Church. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

May her example inspire us to see Christ in every person we meet and to live with hearts full of compassion and generosity.

San Judas Tadeo, ipanalangin mo kami. Amen.

The Feast of the Baptism of the Lord invites us to pause at the waters of the Jordan and witness a quiet yet powerful moment of grace. Jesus, though sinless, chooses to stand among sinners, reminding us that God draws close to our human struggles. As He rises from the water, the heavens open, the Spirit descends, and the Father’s voice declares love and delight. This moment reveals who God is—Father, Son, and Spirit—and who we are meant to be: beloved children. The Baptism of the Lord also calls us to remember our own baptism, when we were claimed by God’s love. It challenges us to live out that identity daily, walking in humility, compassion, and faithful trust.

Lord Jesus, on the feast of Your Baptism, we remember the sacred moment when You entered the waters of the Jordan in humility and love. Though without sin, You chose to stand with us, showing that no part of our lives is beyond God’s grace. As the Spirit descended and the Father’s voice spoke, You revealed a love that still calls us today. Renew in us the grace of our own baptism. Wash our hearts of fear, pride, and doubt. Help us live as beloved sons and daughters, faithful to Your call. May we walk each day guided by the Spirit, reflecting Your mercy, obedience, and peace in all that we do. Amen.

Today we gaze upon Nuestro Padre Jesus Nazareno, the Christ who walks with us while carrying the heavy cross. His darkened face speaks of suffering embraced, not avoided, and of love that chooses to remain with His people even in pain. In every step He takes, we see our own struggles, fears, and silent burdens lifted into His wounded yet faithful hands. This image reminds us that faith is not about escaping hardship, but about trusting God while moving through it. As the Nazareno continues His journey, He invites us to rise after every fall, to persevere with humility, and to believe that no cross is carried alone. In Him, suffering finds meaning, and hope is reborn each day.

𝙋𝙍𝘼𝙔𝙀𝙍

Nuestro Padre Jesus Nazareno, we come before You with humble hearts, carrying crosses only You fully understand. Walk with us when the road feels heavy, when strength seems gone, and when faith begins to waver. Teach us to trust in Your presence, especially in moments of pain, loss, and uncertainty. As You bore the weight of the cross out of love, help us carry our own burdens with patience and hope. Touch our families, our country, and all who silently suffer today. Grant us courage to rise after every fall and grace to follow You faithfully. May Your mercy heal our wounds and Your love guide our steps, now and always. Amen.
