“Cost of the Crown: A Refined Life" with Ptr. Jai Encarnacion today 🔥

He reminded us from 1 Corinthians 9:25 — _"Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever."

We’re all running a race. And it demands *focus, discipline, and a heart set on pleasing God, not man.

Holiness isn’t instant. It’s a process of refinement. Our God is Jehovah Mekoddishkem, the *God who makes you holy”— He is the God of “refinement”: He shapes us, purifies us, until what’s left is a refined life.

Following Him comes with a cost:
1. You may lose friends
2. Your family might deny you
3. You will be hated by many
4. You must deny yourself daily
5. You must live differently from the world
6. You may lose comfort and convenience

But even with all that…we choose Jesus.
Because the crown He gives lasts forever, and no path with Him is ever wasted.

Who else is running this race with us? 🙏

Sunday Service Reflection 🙏✨
Blessed time of worship and learning as Pastor Roger Makiling shared about 1 Peter 4:10: ‘Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.’
According to Pastor Roger, we are reminded of three common gifts: the gift of communication, the gift of giving, and the heart of thankfulness. He also emphasized three powerful words from the verse: Matag-usa (each one), gasa (gift), and pag-alagad (service), supported by Mark 10:45 and Galatians 5:13.
A meaningful reminder that our gifts are meant to serve God and others with love and humility.🙏

Blessed and grateful for the successful launching of the House Fellowship at Pastor Roger Makiling’s house in Cotcot, Liloan as part of the “Bringing Jesus to Every Household” movement. 🙏✨
Pastor Victor Noquiao shared the message from Acts 2:42, reminding everyone that house fellowship is meant to strengthen discipleship and deepen our relationship with God. It is not a replacement for the church, but an extension of the main church so that even those who cannot regularly attend church can still worship God and grow spiritually.
He emphasized the four important foundations of biblical fellowship:
📖 Apostles’ teaching
🤝 Fellowship
🍞 Breaking of bread
🙏 Prayer
We were also reminded to:
✔️ Do according to the Gospel
✔️ Do according to the guidance and power of the Holy Spirit
✔️ Do with a genuine heart ready to sacrifice
Indeed, house churches are expressions of the main church, designed for discipleship, fellowship, and spiritual growth. May every household become a place where Jesus is welcomed, worshipped, and shared. ❤️

A meaningful Sunday fellowship as Pastora Han Arranguez shared about the genuine baptism of the Holy Spirit, grounded in Acts 2:1–13 🙏✨
In a time when the disciples felt uncertain after Jesus’ ascension, God fulfilled His promise of the Holy Spirit—the Comforter—whose presence was powerfully manifested.
A gentle reminder through today’s message:
• A genuine baptism draws us closer to our Heavenly Father and calls us to live Christ-like lives.
• It deepens our love and hunger for God’s Word, giving us wisdom and understanding.
• It begins with true repentance, transforming our hearts.
• And it empowers us with a greater desire to share the Gospel, fulfilling the Great Commission.
Grateful for His presence, His Word, and the continual work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. 💛
