Prayers of St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross.

O Prince of Peace, to all who receive You, You bright light and peace. Help me to live in daily contact with You, listening to the words You have spoken and obeying them. O Divine Child, I place my hands in Yours; I shall follow You. Oh, let Your divine life flow into me.

I will go unto the altar of God. It is not myself and my tiny little affairs that matter here, but the great sacrifice of atonement.

I surrender myself entirely to Your divine will, O Lord. Make my heart grow greater and wider, out of itself into the Divine Life.
O my God, fill my soul with holy joy, courage and strength to serve You.

Enkindle Your love in me and then walk with me along the next stretch of road before me. I do not see very far ahead, but when I have arrived where the horizon now closes down, a new prospect will open before me and I shall met with peace.

How wondrous are the marvels of your love, We are amazed, we stammer and grow dumb, for word and spirit fail us.

Lay person’s prayer for the Sanctification of Priests

Lord Jesus, through the intercession of St. John Mary Vianney, we your people pray to you for our priests. You have given them to us for our needs. We pray for them in their needs.

We know that you have made them priests in the likeness of your own priesthood. You have consecrated them, set them aside, anointed them, filled them with the Holy Spirit, appointed them to teach, to preach, to minister, to console, to forgive, and to feed us with Your Body and Blood.
Yet we know, too, that they are one with us and share our human weaknesses. We know too that they are tempted to sin and discouragement as we are, needing to be ministered to, as do we, to be consoled and forgiven, as do we. Indeed, we thank You for choosing them among us so that they understand as we understand them, suffer with us and rejoice with us, worry with us and trust with us, share our beings, our lives, our faith.

We ask that you give them this day the gift you gave your chosen ones on the way to Emmaus: Your presence in their hearts, your holiness in their souls, your joy in their spirits. And let them see you face to face in the breaking of the Eucharistic bread.
We pray to you, our Lord, through Mary the Mother of all priests, for your priests and for ours.

Holy Mary, intercede for your priests.
�St. Joseph, protect them.
�St. Michael, defend them.
�St. John Mary Vianney, pray for them.

Kasabay ng kapistahan ni San Juan Maria Vianney ay ang pagbati rin ng Maligayang Araw ng mga Pari!

PANALANGIN PARA SA MGA PARI

Amang makapangyarihan at mapagmahal, nagpupuri at nagpapasalamat kami sa Yo dahil sa mga dakilang bagay na ginawa Mo sa amin.

Sa likod ng kawalan at kahinaan ng aming mga pari ay tinawag at hinirang Mo sila upang makihati sa ministeryo ng Iyong Anak na si Hesus, ang Dakilang Pari, at ginawang lingkod ng Iyong sambayanan.

Ang katapatan nila sa pagkapari ay nakasalalay sa walang-hanggang biyaya at lakas na kaloob ng Iyong Banal na Espiritu.
Itulot Mong maipagkaloob nila nang ganap ang kanilang sarili, ang kanilang loob, ang kanilang kaisipan at kanilang kakayahang sa Yo rin nagmula, at ang kanilang panahon upang walang pasubali at walang parangyang mapaglingkuran nila ang kawang ipinagkatiwala Mo sa kanila na walang hinahanap kundi ang Iyong kapurihan at kabutihan ng Iyong Simbahan.

Huwag Mong ipagkait ang kinakailangan nilang katapatan, lakas at kalusugan sa patuloy na paglilingkod.

Idinadalangin namin ang bawat isang pari ng aming Diyosesis ng San Pablo, lalo na ang mga may karamdaman, ang mga nabibigatan sa kanilang pasanin, ang mga nanlulupaypay at nagiging maligamgam sa kanilang ministeryo at buhay espiritwal.

Naway si Kristo, ang Mabuting Pastol, ay maging kadluan ng kanilang lakas at pag-asa.
Idinadalangin din namin ang mga paring namatay na. Pagkalooban Mo po sila ng walang-hanggang kapayapaan at tumanglaw sa kanila ang liwanag magpakailanman.

Idinadalangin din namin ang patuloy na paglago ng bokasyon sa pagpapari at sa buhay konsagrado dito sa aming diyosesis.
Pukawin Mo po ang isipan at kalooban ng aming mga kabataan upang tumugon sila sa Iyong pagtawag.

Bigyan Mo po ng katatagan ang aming mga seminarista at lahat ng nagsasanay sa buhay na ganap na paglilingkod sa Iyong Simbahan.
O Maria, Ina ni Hesus at Ina ng lahat ng pari, patuloy mo nawang ipanalangin sila para sa kanilang kapakanan at madama ang iyong maka-inang pagkakandili.

San Juan Maria Vianney, Patron ng mga Pari, ipanalangin mo po kami.

Ang lahat ng ito ay aming hinihiling sa pangalan ni Hesukristo na nabubuhay at naghahari kasama Mo, at ng Espiritu Santo. Amen.
