Lent is the liturgical season marked by the Church in preparation for Easter. It emphasizes the practice of prayer, almsgiving, and fasting, along with meditating on the Word of God, conversion, and reconciliation.⁣
⁣
This coming March 10, 2024 - Sunday, we will be having our KID'S ASSEMBLY with the theme: "WAY OF THE CROSS" in which the kids will gather to value the life of Jesus and to know the story of Jesus Passion, His suffering, death and resurrection. Once again, we will be inviting your kids to join this activity. 💜

Things to bring:

Kid's Assembly: Sinulog Festival 2024

The image of Sto. Nino and the Sinulog Festival are symbols that remind us of the arrival of Christianity in the Philippines. However the Sto. Nino also reminds us to be like children: obedient, kind, innocent, and humble.

The Kid's Assembly that was held on Sunday July 23 2023– with the theme of "God's Greatest Wonder", taught the kids how important each and everyone of us for we are God's precious children; created in His image and likeness.

The Almeria Parish was grateful and delighted for the success of the Kid's Assembly through the full support of our Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. John Espina, Jr., active MFC Kids Almeria, MFC Community, PYM Almeria, and generous parishioners and parents, DAGHAN KAAYONG SALAMAT! AVE MARIA!!!
The Almeria Parish will be forever grateful to those who supported and helped us in making the Culmination of Flores de Mayo 2023 successful and blissful.
To our parish priest, Rev. Fr. John Espina, Jr., beloved parishioners, generous food sponsors, MFC Titos and Titas, Singles & Youth, and PYM Almeria who facilitated to ensure the entire Novena of Flores de Mayo for the whole month and in the succes of the culmination.
