🔴MINISTRY ACTIVITY IS NOT THE SAME AS SPIRITUAL MATURITY🔴

One of the QUIET DANGERS in ministry is that we can become so FAMILIAR with serving God that we SLOWLY FORGET what it means to simply walk with God.

At the beginning, we serve because WE LOVE HIM. We serve because we are amazed by His grace, grateful for what He has done, and passionate to make His name known.

But sometimes, along the way, something CHANGES.

Our service becomes ROUTINE.
Our passion becomes OBLIGATION.
Our ministry becomes RESPONSIBILITY instead of worship.

And without realizing it, we become more focused on DOING THINGS for God than KNOWING THE GOD WE ARE SERVING.

We can hold a microphone but LOSE OUR HUNGER for His presence.
We can teach others about prayer but SLOWLY NEGLECT our own prayer life.
We can pour into people’s lives while our own soul is RUNNING DRY.

The danger is not that we stop serving.
Sometimes, the greater danger is that we continue serving WHILE OUR HEARTS ARE SLOWLY DRIFTING AWAY FROM THE ONE WE SERVE.

Because ministry activity is NOT the same as spiritual maturity. The amount of work you do for God does NOT always reveal the DEPTH of your relationship with God.

God is not only interested in your hands that serve Him.
HE IS INTERESTED IN YOUR HEART THAT SEEKS HIM.

NEVER ALLOW YOUR MINISTRY FOR GOD BECOME A SUBSTITUTE FOR YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD.

Don’t lose your intimacy while pursuing your assignment.

Serve from OVERFLOW, NOT EMPTINESS.
Lead from INTIMACY, not just experience.

Because the greatest ministry you can offer is not just your work for God, but a LIFE THAT IS CONTINUALLY SURRENDERED TO GOD.

For God desires your heart not just your hands.
