I am proud to be Catholic because my faith is rooted in the Church founded by Jesus Christ Himself. The Catholic Church is not merely a human institution; it traces its origins directly to Christ and the Apostles.

Jesus declared:

"And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the powers of death shall not prevail against it."
— Matthew 16:18

From the beginning, Christ established one Church to teach, sanctify, and guide His followers in truth. He entrusted His authority to the Apostles and promised to remain with His Church forever:

"And behold, I am with you always, to the close of the age."
— Matthew 28:20

For over two thousand years, the Catholic Church has faithfully preserved the teachings handed down by Christ and His Apostles. Despite challenges and persecutions, the Church continues to proclaim the Gospel to all nations.

Being Catholic is not simply belonging to a denomination, it is being part of the family of faith that Christ established and continues to guide through the Holy Spirit.
