SHARING THE "DELUXE" WE HAD TODAY 🙌🥰

THEME: 𝗙𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗢𝗙.𝗠𝗔𝗡
VERSE: 𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗜𝗦 3:1-8

1. 𝑺𝑨𝑻𝑨𝑵 𝑨𝑻𝑻𝑨𝑪𝑲𝑺 𝑮𝑶𝑫'𝑺 𝑾𝑶𝑹𝑫 𝑻𝑯𝑹𝑶𝑼𝑮𝑯 𝑫𝑶𝑼𝑩𝑻
Genesis 3:1
When satan said: > "Did God really say...?"

✓ Satan's first strategy was not a direct denial but a 𝗤𝗨𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡.
✓ He planted 𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗬 in Eve's mind regarding God's command.
✓ 𝗧𝗘𝗠𝗣𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 often begins when we start questioning what God has clearly said.

THUS, Let us 𝗚𝗨𝗔𝗥𝗗 our mind against teachings, opinions, or feelings that cause us to doubt God's truth.

2. 𝑺𝑨𝑻𝑨𝑵 𝑨𝑻𝑻𝑨𝑪𝑲𝑺 𝑮𝑶𝑫'𝑺 𝑾𝑶𝑹𝑫 𝑻𝑯𝑹𝑶𝑼𝑮𝑯 𝑫𝑬𝑵𝑰𝑨𝑳
Genesis 3:4
When satan said: > "You will not surely die."

✓ After creating 𝗗𝗢𝗨𝗕𝗧, Satan directly contradicted God.
✓ He presented God's warning as false.
✓ 𝗦𝗜𝗡 becomes easier when people believe there are no consequences.

REMEMBER, God's 𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗦 are expressions of His 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘 and 𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗦, not restrictions meant to harm us.

3. 𝑺𝑨𝑻𝑨𝑵 𝑨𝑻𝑻𝑨𝑪𝑲𝑺 𝑮𝑶𝑫'𝑺 𝑾𝑶𝑹𝑫 𝑻𝑯𝑹𝑶𝑼𝑮𝑯 𝑫𝑬𝑳𝑼𝑺𝑰𝑶𝑵
Genesis 3:5
When satan said: > "You will be like God."

✓ Satan offered a 𝗙𝗔𝗟𝗦𝗘 promise of wisdom, power, and independence.
✓ He made 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗕𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘 appear beneficial.
✓ Every 𝗧𝗘𝗠𝗣𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 comes packaged with an attractive but deceptive promise.

BE WARNED: 𝗡𝗢𝗧 everything that looks good or feels right leads to God's will.

4. 𝑺𝑨𝑻𝑨𝑵'𝑺 𝑴𝑬𝑻𝑯𝑶𝑫𝑺 𝑯𝑨𝑽𝑬 𝑵𝑶𝑻 𝑪𝑯𝑨𝑵𝑮𝑬𝑫
𝗵𝗲 attacks the:
✓ 𝗔𝗨𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗬 of God's Word
• Making people question whether Scripture should be obeyed.
✓𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗨𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗬 of God's Word
• Suggesting God is mistaken or exaggerating.
✓𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗘𝗣𝗧𝗔𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗬 of God's Word
• Making God's commands seem unfair, outdated, or undesirable.

So for our Application relating it to our SUNDAY SCHOOL also: Be discerning and vigilant about the advice, teachings, and influences you follow.

5. 𝑫𝑬𝑪𝑬𝑷𝑻𝑰𝑶𝑵 𝑶𝑭𝑻𝑬𝑵 𝑨𝑷𝑷𝑬𝑨𝑹𝑺 𝑨𝑻𝑻𝑹𝑨𝑪𝑻𝑰𝑽𝑬
Eve saw that the fruit:
•Looked good
•Appeared desirable
•Seemed beneficial

✓ Many 𝗧𝗘𝗠𝗣𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 today are not presented as evil; they are presented as attractive, reasonable, or harmless.

WE 𝗠𝗨𝗦𝗧 Evaluate choices according to 𝗚𝗢𝗗'𝗦 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗗 not merely by appearance, emotion, or personal gain.

𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗖𝗟𝗨𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡:)

The Fall began when God's Word was 𝗤𝗨𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗘𝗗, 𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗘𝗗, and 𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗖𝗘𝗗 with another voice.

𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗻,
✓ 𝗦𝗘𝗘𝗞 counsel from faithful pastors, elders, and mature believers.
✓ 𝗧𝗘𝗦𝗧 every teaching against Scripture.
✓ 𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗔𝗜𝗡 discerning and vigilant.
✓ 𝗔𝗟𝗪𝗔𝗬𝗦 return to the 𝗕𝗜𝗕𝗟𝗘 as the final authority for faith and life.

REMEMBER: Satan's primary strategy is to undermine confidence in God's Word through 𝗱𝗼𝘂𝗯𝘁, 𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗹, and 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻; therefore, we must remain 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 in 𝗦𝗖𝗥𝗜𝗣𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘 and 𝘃𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁 against false influences.

• Be discerning and vigilant in whose ADVICE you follow. Some counsel may seem favorable to you but later lead to downfall, some may be difficult to accept yet paves the way to success.

• Seek counsel or advices from your spiritual leaders/Pastors, Elders and Trusted Christian Brethren.

• Above all, always return to the BIBLE and let GOD's Word be the ultimate guide and final authority.
