The Christian life is not a playground but a battleground, and the battles we face are not merely physical but spiritual. Yet we are reminded that we do not fight for victory because Christ has already won it for us. In every struggle, we are called to stand firm, rely on the strength of the Lord, and remember that people are not the true enemy. God’s strength never fades, never weakens, and never fails those who trust in Him.

As believers, we are called to put on the full armor of God each day, walking in truth, righteousness, faith, salvation, peace, and the power of His Word. Through Christ, we are equipped to stand our ground with confidence, knowing that no battle is greater than the victory already secured through Him.

As believers in Christ, we are reminded that we are the temple of the living God, His people, and His sons and daughters...

As believers in Christ, we are reminded that we are the temple of the living God, His people, and His sons and daughters. Through faith in Jesus, we become one with the Lord and are called to live lives that honor Him through prayer, devotion, obedience, and holiness. Our lives should reflect who God is, not only through our words but also through the way we live and treat others.

As a community of believers, we are called not to live selfishly, but to seek what is good for the whole church and for one another. In every decision and season of life, may we continually submit ourselves to God, align our hearts with His will, and faithfully share His love and truth to others, remembering that we belong to Him and are called to glorify Him in all things.

Salvation is a gift of grace through faith in Christ alone, not something we can earn through good works, because even our best efforts fall short of God’s holiness. Before salvation, no work can make us righteous, but through Jesus, we are justified and made new.

After salvation, good works become the evidence of a transformed life, flowing from faith and love for God. As we live faithfully, love others, forgive, give, and share the gospel, our lives reflect Christ and bring glory to Him, showing the world the change only He can give.

We thank the Lord for the simple Kabalaikat event today — the Fellowship and Cookfest — where the women show their skills in cooking delicious dishes. Before that, we had singing and prayer. We also listened to the Word of God through Ma’am Sally Nillos, principal of Vine Christian Academy in San Fernando City. She shared from Proverbs 31 about a blessed woman. We thank God for His Word, which reminded us that having a true and good relationship with God is important, so that it may reflect in our lives and help us build good relationships with others as well. After the women finished cooking, we all shared the food together with our families. This was also our simple celebration of Mother’s Day. Praise God!
